I see that Fernando Mendoza is now in the portal, and Indiana is interested! Threw for over 3000 yards this year, 18 touchdowns and just six interceptions for Cal. That’s production for sure.
Sounds like more than a chance.Indiana will get their chance with Fernado
“There was something in the air that night….”That was a banger tune by ABBA.
He’s got legit speed.Underrated mobility too, at least from what I saw on tv this season
We finally have our 3rd qtr songThat was a banger tune by ABBA.
I think that might have been Ricardo Montalban. Fernando was "you look marvelous ".I can hear him now, "... fine Corinthian leather..."
With Tino heading to UCLA, I'd think Fernando would follow...and maybe little brother...
You're right. What I meant to say was...I think that might have been Ricardo Montalban. Fernando was "you look marvelous ".
What’s the logic here? Am I missing something with the depth of their relationship? Unless there is an abnormally close relationship here, I just don’t see why that would be a factor. Go to a middling program for a coach that I love but that is an unknown as a play caller. For a guy to uproot himself at a similar situation because of his NFL aspirations only to land in a spot with no better prospects would be baffling. With Tino heading to UCLA, I'd think Fernando would follow...and maybe little brother...
Tino = QB guru. Likely a big reason little brother came to IU.What’s the logic here? Am I missing something with the depth of their relationship? Yeah, I say this as someone that loves Tino and am praying that if Shannahan leaves we bring him back, but I think this notion that he is widely viewed as a QB guru is overblown. Not his offense or his team, and for that matter CIG has a stronger track record with QBs.Tino = QB guru. Likely a big reason little brother came to IU.

that's why i wonder if the bruins went after shanahan first and when he wasn't interested they settled for tino.Yeah, I say this as someone that loves Tino and am praying that if Shannahan leaves we bring him back, but I think this notion that he is widely viewed as a QB guru is overblown. These are words too, but do nothing to further my argument just as yours didn't further your own. You could be right, but I find the basis for your point to be lacking for anything solid.
It was actually Tom Allen and staff that actually recruited Albert. Cignetti and staff was just a bonus for him.Tino = QB guru. Likely a big reason little brother came to IU.

I believe Alberto Mendoza committed to Coach Cignetti at JMU until Coach Cig came to Indiana & Alberto followed. It was actually Tom Allen and staff that actually recruited Albert. Cignetti and staff was just a bonus for him.
I stand corrected. My apologies. You are correct.I believe Alberto Mendoza committed to Coach Cignetti at JMU until Coach Cig came to Indiana & Alberto followed.
I don’t think so. From what I read I believe Tino and Foster have a long standing relationship. Although I have no inside scoop I would venture to guess Tino was his first choice and IMO a good choice. I think he will do well.that's why i wonder if the bruins went after shanahan first and when he wasn't interested they settled for tino.
I have a strong inkling that if Tino was actively recruiting Alberto off the current roster all while recruiting Fernando against IU he wouldn't be in the building any more. I don't think UCLA is a major player here and have seen a few tweets from UCLA who suggest Fernando is a pipe dream. With Tino heading to UCLA, I'd think Fernando would follow...and maybe little brother...
Are you brain dead? Lol. Wtf. You act like little brother was a 5 star.Tino = QB guru. Likely a big reason little brother came to IU.
