Yup and don't forget the negative recruiting Archie "supposedly" does towards Purdue. Lol. Methboy thinks he's got sources or knows about the game of basketball, but when it comes down to it, he's just an over the top Purdue fanboy. I do enjoy them trying to spin things about Archie, Romoe and the other in-state recruits we got. Truth is, they didn't even consider Purdue and poor little Methboy is all butt hurt.

I do like how he claims Romeo isn't one of the best players to come out of Indiana. Lol. Talk about delusional.

Archie landed a top ten recruiting class his first year on the job including the three best instate players, one of whom is a top five player. He is in good shape with the two best instate players in the 2019 class, neither of whom will go to Purdue. TJD would commit right now if he knew Romeo was staying two years. The best instate player in the 2020 class is Anthony Leal, a Bloomington native whose parents work for IU. Things aren’t looking good for Purdue with respect to instate recruiting. Sucks to be you.

In some ways I agree with you as at this point he is what he is. A pretty good coach and an average recruiter. It would be hard for them to go out and pay for someone better and if they did happen to find a diamond in the rough from the mid major ranks he'd quickly leave for greener pastures once he had success.

Not a great individual pickup as far as talent, but what he brings to the team (ability to stretch the floor and draw out bigs) makes him good a piece in the puzzle. Gives Morgan more room to operate, and removes one opponent big from doubling him.

Generally a pretty reasonable set of exoecrptations with a dash of hope. He was expected to be a shooter. Thread is Not over the top at all.
