This is the worst display of basketball I have seen in a long time. Pathetic effort, Illinois is playing hard, IU looks slow and lazy and seems to give zero f**ks about being blown out again. Dolson needs to clean house

I did not realize we had a game tonight, that is how removed I have become. I was going to watch the ladies play Iowa again on the Peacock replay and saw the men were live. I thought, “well I will just check in and see the score”. 60-32 at half at home.

Same here. I am sitting in the stands waiting on my son’s swim meet to begin and did not even know we had a game. Buddy sent me a text alerting me to the game and carnage. This has got to be the low point, right?
This is going to be the effort you get some nights when you pay millions of dollars for rent a players. NBA is the same way.
Wish we’d get back to building a roster and culture instead of trying to shortcut our way to a championship.

Jumped onto Peacock with 5 minutes left in the half & wasn't totally shocked. My knee jerk reaction was to divert ALL the nil money to football & just go with a pickup team for hoops. Maybe they could lead the league in gpa. The announcers repeating "this isn't Indiana basketball"! No scheit !
I really thought that MM would be the next JHS, even knowing he had no training on the defensive end. But it's been 4v5 all year with his feaux defense. And his offense has not been at the JHS level. And I hate discussing players individually but this is too much. I wonder what Quinn thinks of the team's defense. He was one of the best defenders to wear the IU uniform.

I was at my son’s first martial arts class and forgot there was a game. Just got back and turned it on and saw the score and it didn’t even register a reaction within me. A sure sign that I know longer care.

Q was the best defensive college guard I can ever remember seeing. So many times he would take the ball away in a critical possession to save a game.

Bobby Wilkerson, with those long arms, wasn’t bad either! What a pair.
The two were devastating. Buckner could stop you from getting the ball across half court if he wanted & Wilkerson at 6-7, long arms and good vertical could block your shot. He spiked one of mine from the deep right side & he wasn't even guarding me or the man who set the pick; I never saw him. Wilkerson had great lateral movement too.
