He was a student manager. Do most people include that in their defintion of "IU Guy" or are they talking mostly about former players?Would you feel this way if he wasn't an IU guy?

If he turns out to be our guy I'll support him 100%. I just happen to think there are much more qualified candidates out there.Would you feel this way if he wasn't an IU guy?
I gave 11 other reasons besides him being an IU alum to hire him, so... yeah, of course.Would you feel this way if he wasn't an IU guy?
If i were a betting man.
Unless he says no… He is IU head coach. Next season and on. May on forward
May is unproven. One lucky run doesn't make him a genius. The brackets, upsets and matchups determine so much. Stevens caught lightening in a bottle then ran. He knew he couldn't sustain it. Beard has too much baggage and Pearl is too old. Ben McCollum is the right answer.I'm not sold on May. Hasn't proven enough for me. Give me one of the 4 B's. Brad, Beard, Bruce or Ben. And no way it's comparable to Cig.

He does seem to have a bit of the "high school science teacher" lookI'm not sure I can root for a guy who wears these glasses.

Your evaluations of coaching prowess doesn’t exactly carry a lot of weight. If you say the guy is a “reject,” he’s probably pretty good.Pearl a reject, get a young coach.
Michigan has deep pockets. I think they are paying attention. If i were a betting man.
Unless he says no… He is IU head coach. Next season and on. May on forward err March-April.
Of course after Brad turns us down.

What more does he need to prove, and for how long? He has a final four at a backwater school, he never finished a season with a losing record, he turned around the program at Michigan and has them ranked #1 in the conference currently in his first year there. He is doing everything we defined as our criteria for success.May is unproven.
