I have said for years that if they are serious about these electric cars then they have to go nuclear because we can't sustain the added electrical needs with what we currently have.
my view is fossil fuels are bad for the planet, anything we can do to reduce the use of them is a plus. can we ever totally get away from fossil fuels? Yes, Woodson cares. He single handedly put IU on his shoulders to win the Big Ten as a senior coming off an injury.
He just has the wrong approach as a college coach, and has not brought a sense of urgency for winning.
I imagine someone like Dakich would say he hasn't held his players accountable enough- he's too nice. And maybe that is part of it too.
But simply put, in year 4 there are no leaders on his team, and mostly silence from the sideline, and that doesn't result in winning.

The irony of it all. The planet is being stripped of precious and vital minerals like manganese, lithium, cadmium and nickel....all essential for electric car batteries. China is colonizing the planet to absorb all of these natural resources. Yet...they aren't considered "fossil fuels"...so their depletion and environmental impact doesn't raise a peep. I repeat....the planet is being raped for non-renewable vital minerals....and the US has deposits being targeted as well. Two electric car battery plants are being built in my area. Problem is, they demand an extremely large amount of water in the processing and production...so the local water supply is being challenged. Again...no objections from environmentalists. I tend to think that the foreign country which is building and operating these plants prefers to build them in the US rather than their own country precisely because of the environmental impact of production....sparing their own country, but reaping the profits. So, yeah.....let's all sing about the evils of petroleum and natural gas, which the US has in ample supply. Coincidence?
