I hate influencers. Maybe just a compound where we can smoke meat and drink beer and whiskey. Let’s keep it simple.

How about a distillery and brewery. Grow the grain right on site. And if the land is at the right latitude, we can even grow our own hops.Maybe instead of a working ranch we could do a lifestyle ranch. Cooking. A place for influencers to do photo shoots. Etc.
Cool ending. Season 3 will have a wild start. Kate . . . .Season 2 of The Diplomat is off to a good start.
That’s 🔥 the saddest part is our crew didn’t even have a year of law under our belts and we were already dreaming of our escapeHow about a distillery and brewery. Grow the grain right on site. And if the land is at the right latitude, we can even grow our own hops.
And we'll have an adult bounce house.
Gonna spoil this whole show for us, too, Univee?Cool ending. Season 3 will have a wild start. Kate . . . .

I’m going to read this tonightFor those McCarthy fans out there @mcmurtry66
Cormac McCarthy’s Secret Muse Breaks Her Silence After Half a Century: “I Loved Him. He Was My Safety.”
When he was 42, Cormac McCarthy fell in love with a 16-year-old girl he met by a motel pool. Augusta Britt would go on to become one of the most significant—and secret—inspirations in literary history, giving life to many of McCarthy’s most iconic characters across his celebrated novels and...www.vanityfair.com
I know we are mad at Woodson now, but arch never made the tournament. He’s gotta be the 1 star, no?From now on I’ll be using the following scale to rate.
1 star - Mike Woodson
2 Star - Archie Miller
3 Star - Tom Crean
4 Star - Kelvin Sampson
5 Star - Bob Knight
Heretic - Tom Crean. Solid Thriller, Hugh Grant is really good in it.
Here - Archie Miller. Interesting concept but just didn’t really work. I usually like her but thought Robin Wright was awful.
The Agency - Tom Crean (not as good as Le Bureau)
Maybe, but it’s my system & I think Woodson is the absolute worst. 😉 Despise him, so no doubt there is more to the system than just wins & losses. Archie would have made the tournament but was zapped by Covid one year, & didn’t have who was arguably the best player in the country with TJD.I know we are mad at Woodson now, but arch never made the tournament. What about Dakich? Mike Davis? From now on I’ll be using the following scale to rate.

Wife likes Danson, doesn't like the show. Don't ask me.Inside Man, series with Ted Danson on Netflix is pretty good.
Show her this. Two of my favorite 80s actors:Wife likes Danson, doesn't like the show. Don't ask me.
Did you finish it? I watched the first few episodes and thought the idea was cute, but didn't laugh at the show.Inside Man, series with Ted Danson on Netflix is pretty good.
We finished it and liked it. I view it like a poor man's Only Murders. Not as good as Murders, but still good.Did you finish it? I watched the first few episodes and thought the idea was cute, but didn't laugh at the show.
I've seen 5 of those and all of them were good. Baby Reindeer, Fallout, Shogun, Slowhorses, and one I'm blanking onA take on the 20 best TV shows of the year. I haven't seen several. Of the ones I have, The Diplomat is my #1. But I haven't seen Shogun yet, waiting for an extended period so I can binge it and that would be my odds on favorite to be my favorite.

I’ve got that to watch with my daughterRed One. Heard one podcaster say it’s an instant Christmas classic to others on line say it’s a complete waste. My stoker is a Rock fan so she liked it.
Very high marks for creativity. Santa, his sleigh, and the reindeer like you have never seen them. I thought the sleigh launch with F 35’s in the opening scenes was terrific. The movie deteriorated from there for me. But not for the rest of the family.
The ‘Yeah, we insure that” guy made a terrific Santa.
Highly recommend Say Nothing on Hulu. About the IRA in Northern Ireland in the 70s. Excellent thus far.A take on the 20 best TV shows of the year. I haven't seen several. Excellent. I got my daughter all fired up for squid 2 and said we’ll binge squid then looked it up and there was sex and shit. It’s been so long I forgot. If you have kids. Beast Games is now on Amazon Prime. Mr. Beast starts with 1000 players, and trying to winnow them down to 1, who will win $5 million. Budget for the series is $100 million.
Worth the watch. A G version of Squid Games but for real.
ETA: You have to watch the end of episode 2. Fascinating psych experiment and insight into human beings.
Christmas gift from my brother in law...'A Hell of A Storm' by David S. Brown. So what’s everybody reading or watching? My new favorite tv show is Killing Eve. It’s about a female assassin, on BBC , starring Sandra Oh as the detective trying to catch her. Creepy good. I’m reading Killers of the Flower Moon, about the murders of Native Americans in Oseage County and the beginnings of the FBI. Just saw RBG, and was surprised at how gorgeous she was. Also had no idea she was involved in women’s issues since college and tried 6 cases at Supreme Court, winning 5 of them. What’s everyone else enjoying?
