I normally root against Purdue, but I almost want to see a Purdue-UK contest in the Final 4 just to see how we on this board would handle that.
I would probably forget about it as soon as it was over, but 9,000 Purdue trolls will take the time to visit this IU site just to tell us how irrelevant we are.
Our heads would probably explode. I was for UK last night and felt weird about it. I told my wife that this was the only time I have ever rooted for UK because I didn't want to see Coach Calvin win. He really needs to apologize to our fan base.
Well....we are irrelevant. No need for anyone to confirm it. IU is like a mid major inside its own state borders.
I just had this conversation my a co-worker the other day. The horror of a PU/UK Final Four matchup. I'm thinking that there's a pretty good chance that this happens also.
I'm guessing that most would swallow it and root for Purdue. I'd pull for UK.
If we’re so irrelevant, why do other school’s fans insist on coming here? That goes against logic.
And how many F#$%ING do you need to say it. We ALL know your feelings. Anybody that has read more than two threads KNOWS your view point. IU sucks, McRobbie sucks, Glass sucks, Archie sucks, IU is Mayberry, Allen sucks, IU is a mid major, Yada, Yada Yada.

If Edwards and Cline play like they did against Tennessee and are able to stretch out Virginia’s defense than it could be a long night for Virginia.
Be difficult after the injury to their best player. They were a better squad than Kentucky with him however
Purdue does seem comfortable with the Yum Center rims. I hope Virginia wins so we won’t have to stomach any more Gene Keady feel good stories. He should be Bob Knight. I’m not watching that game tonight. I’ll just check the final score (while holding my breath) on my ESPN app when I get up to take a leak in the middle of the night. I don’t need the added stress of possibly watching the media darlings get to the Final Four. I might PUke!
I’m not hurt by anything. If we’re so irrelevant, why do they spend so much energy coming to this site? I’m pointing out irony. To me, Purdue is irrelevant, always have been. I don’t go to their sites because I don’t care about them on any level.
It’s idiotic to say a team is irrelevant and proceed to spend your free time on that team’s site. Every other team in D1 is irrelevant to me...I prove that by not spending a single second on another team’s site. I don’t care. You are confusing activity with results. IU has not had any since Zeller & Oladipo and that was a Sweet 16. Need to get back to national prominence.
The hinges were rattling and then PU hit a dry spell. Edwards and Cline just need to bury a few 3’s. The blonde player for uva Diakite is killing them with buckets of opportunity.
On the foul called right before half.... Painter was yelling/motioning to the Ref's that the VA Player used his off ball arm to wrap around PU defender for an advantage.

I’m not confusing anything with anything and I’m not talking about results. If I think someone is irrelevant, I don’t go out of my way to make contact with them. It’s a simple concept.
This is a great game. I can’t remember 2 teams hitting bombs like this
I always want the Big Ten to win even if it’s not IU.
It's hard to watch this game without being pissed that Guy isn't a Hoosier.
It’s a great game plan by both coaches. They’ve obviously told their players to shoot (and make) 25-30ft shots.
If Purdue gets to the final 4 while IU sits at home I just don't think I'll be able to handle it.
