To anyone on here who attended the Illinois game: Approximately how many people were actually in the stands?? It looked like on TV that both balconies were essentially empty.. Was that the case? Of course they list attendance as 17222.
Help me understand who you think would not be a “settle” for IU basketball?

Both balconies were bare. Half the student section was empty at tip but filled in in the first 4-5 minutes. There was a noticeable Illini contingent. I'd put attendance closer to 12-13k. Students didn't bother standing after the under 8 TO in the first half and a lot left at halftime. Place really started to clear out at the under 8.
Iowa blew us out in Carver…2 weeks later they get stomped by the LA teams, then lose 3rd straight…a home loss to Minny.

14-6.....just avoided double digits against another B10 worst. Weak defense, walking the ball up with 1:30 to go (and down by like 12) and shooting 2pt buckets with 33 seconds left after NW just drained a 3. These are seniors.

South Carolina in 0-6 in in conference.
Providence is is 3-5
Minnesota is 2-6
Rutgers is 3-5 and on and on.

I was reading on the other board that Isiah Thomas was on the radio today telling us all how great Woody is and why we need to keep him. He’s obviously very close to Woody and Quinn and was probably put up to it.
Suffice to say, even if we lose out it sounds like Dolson will have a hell of a fight on his hands against QB, Ferguson, the Cooks, Simons, etc. They aren’t ready to give up power.
I think he’s getting a 5th year.
Doesn't really surprise me that former IU players, particularly the RMK players, are a "club" that is not going to publicly criticize one of their own. What's in it for them? Dakich is an anomaly.
I've read that there is a bit of a division between the earlier RMK players (70's-early 80's) and the later players from the mid-80's on. I don't think it's one big friendly club.
When it comes to management decisions, do the opposite of what our god Isiah says. That’s gets u a better result.
