• And not a single vote in the AP top 25

How can they be satisfied with this and not make a change?

To anyone on here who attended the Illinois game: Approximately how many people were actually in the stands?? It looked like on TV that both balconies were essentially empty.. Was that the case? Of course they list attendance as 17222.

Maybe the best thing would be to announce now that he's retiring at the end of the season, and give the players and coaches a chance to finish strong to send him off on a high note (protecting his ego/legacy) while also making clear to players (current, portal, recruits) to not do anything rash, they might want to fight to play for IU next year.

That would absolutely be the best thing, but its looking like Woodson will have to be dragged away kicking and screaming.

If things continue as expected and he's not willing to commit to a graceful exit with 4 or 5 games to go.....pull the trigger.

To anyone on here who attended the Illinois game: Approximately how many people were actually in the stands?? It looked like on TV that both balconies were essentially empty.. Was that the case? Of course they list attendance as 17222.

Both balconies were bare. Half the student section was empty at tip but filled in in the first 4-5 minutes. There was a noticeable Illini contingent. I'd put attendance closer to 12-13k. Students didn't bother standing after the under 8 TO in the first half and a lot left at halftime. Place really started to clear out at the under 8.

Iowa blew us out in Carver…2 weeks later they get stomped by the LA teams, then lose 3rd straight…a home loss to Minny.
