Do Quinn, the board, and all the other clowns not understand the state of IUBB?

Here we sit wondering:
  • if we make the big dance (I seriously doubt it) and the Big10 tourney is not a given
  • And not a single vote in the AP top 25
How can they be satisfied with this and not make a change?

It's why I wished like hell that OSU three pointer would have fallen. Even if this team makes NIT, Woody will be kept. It's really that simple. If we have any chance to see IU special again in basketball, sooner than way later, losing big right now is the best route.

If we don’t make the NCAA tournament, he’s gone. The boos started early in January, and with about half a dozen home games remaining—along with the looming beatdowns—the booing is only going to get louder. When fans start booing and chanting against the home team, it signals the beginning of the end. The NIT wasn’t enough for Crean or Miller, and it certainly won’t be enough for Woodson either.

Will the boos continue?

Wednesday we play in WRA, and face an 11-7 team. That is certainly a winnable game. Then it’s back home for Maryland.

IF, we win in Evanston, and avoid a lackluster start to Maryland I could see the crowd in that game playing nice and help create a positive environment. Win those 2 and we are 7-3, with….

10 left, 5 away and 5 home.

The home games have 2 currently ranked teams, PUke and Michigan. There’s also UCLA in there.

Road games are daunting: PUke, MSU, Oregon, Wisconsin and…..the U-Dub Huskies (who are not daunting)

So, assuming we lose all of those road games except in Seattle, it comes down to how we do at home. IF we can get to 7-3, we could go 4-6 and still have 11 wins. Winning just 4 of those games seems totally doable with some focus and effort. We certainly have the talent to win the home games , and win one on the road to get to 13-7.

Did I just hit a dispensary at 4:30 am here? Nope, nothing but a pot of Starbucks.

This team could completely go off the rails, BUT it wouldn’t shock me to see them win the next 2. At 7-3, that is quite the start to a an above .500 season.
