Apparently it means something to him to make a run at the all time yards record in 6 years of college football…on three different teams. This crap is getting ridiculous. They should just make a list of the guys who say they are staying put and assume everybody is a free agent until then.

There is a set time to enter the portal and it's now. Maybe he's maximizing his earnings, Ok. Maybe he wants a specific grad program, Ok.
I do wish the transfer rules were a little tighter, but never expect the NCAA to have any clue on anything other than lining pockets.

This guy isn't playing the NFL, why wouldn't he try and capitalize on a $1 million+ payday? You think he's going to find a job next year paying anything close to that?
You know you may be right. These guys aren’t in college anymore to learn a career for their future, so stretch your football career and make as much money as possible, because once you get out….
