There's a giant hole in the middle of their defense that can and will be exploited by the right teams. The reason not many do is because the hole is mid game.. and mid game just isn't a priority for many players or teams. It's all 3 and rim..
Look at the shot charts in their loss this year and losses last year. Right side of, or near, the lane, under 3pt line.. that's the Edey vacuum. That's the breakdown you can play off of and exploit.
Frankenzach is an absolute physical and statistical outlier, and a force offensively, he also eats a lot of space defensively .. but his feet are concrete boot slow, once he drops he can't rotate back and they just don't have the defensive ability with their perimeter players to make up for that... they're also slow.
Stopping them offensively .. that's a different ball game... but it seems not keying on Edey but instead pressuring their guards has worked.
