Thanks for being so gentle - I'm Sierra Nevada & Gin & Tonic induced. Semi-retired so every day is Saturday. Just listening to my Prine playlist on the back porch and itching to pick up a guitar. Now That's music worth playing!

Yeah - always wanted a Martin due to watching Neil Young, Prine and others play them. I did pick up a used Martin 12 string in the mid-70s but never got a 6 string. By the time I had the coin to spend on primo guitars I found the Taylors to be incredibly easy to play and the sound to be incredible. Have a 910, 714 CE and a 615 CE and they have made me forget my fixation on Martin. Still have the 12 string but it never leaves the case.

I am a big Martin fan and I own two of them - although not high-end Martins. Never warmed to the Taylor sound.
