On the other side…we were reluctant to adjust to the realities of the situation.
Some were so entrenched on being “right”.
I worked thru it and gave numerous vaccinations. Originally, they saved lives. But as the virus changed they became less and less “competent” and not as needed.
I will have to see a more virulent strain before I get another covid vaccine…not because I’m afraid but because I don’t see the need to feel like crap for 24 hours.

I think a lot of it depends on people’s reactions. I had no reactions to initial shot or booster, but my Covid case was very light too. I’d rather feel like crap for 24 hours than a week or two with Covid. I’ll wait to see what they say about the new one coming out.

How do you know they died from the vaccination? It’s certainly very rare that can be proven. Was your mother or was it MIL vaxxed? Probably not, since it was early during Covid.

There was no vax yet and she died of cancer. The ride they put her through was hell. For us as well. 2 days after she was admitted to the hospital they locked the hospital down. It was very limited, restricted, visiting in the nursing home and no visiting in the covid wing.
There were 3 all vaxed, fine health wise and dropped dead. Two in the same family and one of my employees girlfriends. All black, all died suddenly. I've posted their story here before. 1 in her 30's with kids, 1 in her 40's with kids and 1 in his 60's. All fine and healthy, all dead suddenly of heart issues within 6 months of the Vax. And all that young.
You realize most of us have our own doctors, right? They don't profit off us getting a free vaccine.

The erronious connection to abortion with vaccines comes from the fact that many drugs are tested for toxicity or efficacy on human cell types. It's not easy to culture human cells, though, as you know. But some human cells that behave quite well are various forms of cancer cells (they grow grow grow) and also fetal cell lines, cells grown in a laboratory based on aborted fetal cells that were collected >50 years ago.

I am a medicinal chemist, IU PhD in chemistry. I used to be a research group leader in pharma. Now I have my own research group in academia. I work with project teams looking for new types of small molecule drugs (not vaccines or biologics). My largest reaearch grant is part of an NIH antiviral drug discovery (AViDD) center.

How dumb was a healthy 37 year old for not getting vaccinated? How about a 25 year old who already had Covid?
Dumb enough to risk increased chances of infection and/or transmission to others who might be more susceptible to severe disease.
The vaccine didn’t stop transmission and susceptible people could get vaccinated. So, no, they are still not dumb.
It didn't stop it, but it slowed it down. People who were less sick and sick for a shorter duration were less likely to be infectious than those who were sicker or sick longer. And a lot of susceptible people didn't get the jab (like my elderly next door neighbor) and ended up dying. I'd hate to be the younger healthy unvaccinated family member who most likely infected her, but I suppose you could say she had it coming.
I think it's the indicment5 strain. The vaccine won't work, but they won't let that out until after the next election. I mean it won't be proven untill after the next election. That is what I meant.
All vaccines are part of a group effort. You get the vaccine even if you don't need it so that you can add a tiny little bit to the giant pool of protection that, as a whole, helps minimize harm and protect those who most need protected. If you are young and healthy, and you forego a vaccine because you don't need it, that's not dumb. It's just selfish.
