I find it rather hilarious that our dry campus now has Coors Light as the official beer of IU Athletics and yes I understand that we are only talking sporting events. So is the campus still dry unless you are drinking Coors Light? LOL

Will our 21 and over athletes be doing ads for Coors Light? Maybe we can get those pretty blue mountains from their cans replicated on our Jerseys!

Coors Light? Is that considered beer?

I can see the advertisements now.

Odd, considering the close relationship the AD has with Upland. Sold/served on site and at VC events.

I imagine upland will still be sold. We had a deal with bud the last few years as the "main" provider, and there were still other options.
I am much more of a fan of Upland products than CL or BL. I only recall Upland products in Tobias last season, but I guess that is all I was looking for. Would like to see them get Big Woods and BBC products in there as well. Love me some Ruby Bloom.

The only time a Coors Light is acceptable is when it’s 90 in September with the sun beating down on those aluminum bleachers.
But at that point a nice ice cold PBR would suffice.

Only on here could you find someone bitching about a beer contract..... 🙄

While a few of the powers that be may still wish to continue to live in the fantasy that IU Bloomington is a "dry campus" (something it hasn't been since around 1817 [3 years prior to IU's inception] the reality is that the average IU student probably graduates with a cumulative average blood alcohol content of .014 😉...

While I personally prefer a good "craft" beer (and have had them from Oregon to Maine [I prefer Oregon] ) in most circumstances..., when's a hot day and I just want to cool off fast, an ice cold Coors Light is always a welcome sight and I never allow the fact that I've had "good" craft beer to flip my sensibilities to close to brain dead effete mode so I can pretend to pose as a beer connoisseur...🍺

People never cease to amaze... 😖
