Thanks Steve Alford's dad. We did get someone much better than Alford. Hell, the last coach we had was much better than Alford. I'm sorry you had to watch your son lose again last night and again not make the Elite 8 despite having a 3 seed on four different occasions.

I hope you keep your UCLA avatar going. The UCLA fans were praying he was coming here, that's how bad he is. Enjoy following UCLA hoops. Bullet dodged.

Have you watched Miller's team play? Your numbers may not tell you this, but his teams are hard-nosed and physical. Dayton lost their two best big men this season and were still a solid tournament team. This is by far the best coach IU's had since RMK.

His name is Sam and he is a Washington Hatchet. We are proud of Sam in our town.

Not stepping out on a limb there!

All he does is look at numbers and never actually thinks for himself

Ha ha... "scoreboard" from an IU basketball fan... great stuff!

Later guys... enjoy the stats

So you're bragging that Alford barely has better stats than Miller despite being at UCLA and having McDonald's All-Americans? That's brutal. You talk about stats Miller has gone further in the NCAA than Alford has despite being in an A-10 conference that lost Xavier and Butler.

Not much of a stretch looking at whos been here since RMK. If hes as good or better than Sampson without the cheating then we are looking good in the coming years.

Didn't even look did ya? The comparison was Alfords 6 years at UNM to Archie's 6 years at Dayton.

I love it how Steve's Dad focuses only on the New Mexico years, nothing before, nothing after, as if that is all we should look at, because he never coached anywhere else. Bizarre.

So you omitted the Iowa years, UCLA last year, and randomly picked "6 years in the past" from an arbitrary date then posted a bunch of Kenpom crap that can be manipulated to prove anything.

Good for you!!!!!

Alford's teams SUCK on defense. Period. And each year at NCAA tourney time it shows.

Now go grab your protractor and make a chart for anyone who gives f*** about what you posted.

Think ole Stevie gets fired next year? Year after next?

Oh my God enough with Alford. He's been an average coach for 23 years. Give it a rest.

I see you're using what is by far Steve's best stint as a head coach. What are his efficiency numbers at UCLA? Iowa?
