Do you just pay attention to IU or do you spend all day, day drinking, with amazing appetizers, like bacon wrapped jalapeños, watching other games throughout the season? And then wonder what happened to North Carolina?

Did you see Kansas blow a 21 pt lead?

Are you geared up for the Arkansas Kentucky massacre about to unfold?

I guess the real question is, do you watch other teams play?

I’m married with 2 fortnight kids and a wife that’s an enabler. So, in the dead of winter, this is what I do.

Anyone feel that…?

Texas tech giving Houston all they can handle. With an ejected player and coach.

Edit: yea I watch other games.

I tend to just follow IU because when I moved to Pennsylvania I discovered you could watch Indiana high school sports.with IU and HS sports not much time left.

Do you have kids or relatives in HS here? I just don’t really find HS sports very interesting since my kids graduated.

In high school, college, and in my early years of being in the real world I watched college basketball religously. That included when I was coaching at the high school level. (Teach for a living) I am 39, and have 2 boys who are 8 and 5. Between teaching, being a husband/dad, and farming on the side, I do not have the motivation to watch cbb like I once did. The only coaching I do now is with my sons 2nd grade team. The current IU situation/along with nil have dampened my appetite for college basketball. I now sleep better at night by kicking the hell out of other 2nd grade teams. In fairness, I shake hands with other coaches, my kids execute out of bounds plays, and my assistants have not taken a swing at me. I feel like my 2nd graders are over the hump. In all seriousness, the style of play is not what it once was. I feel like the depth of systems on both ends is minimal. A lot of cookie cutter systems, especially amongst the big time programs and conferences. The level of commitment from player to program is next to nothing. It is all about what can the program do for me and not vice versa. I will state the obvious, but Purdue may be the most pure program left of the Power 4 conferences. I hope the powers that be let Dolson make a decision on the next head coach. Find a guy who can coach. Someone with a system and a confidence level to not be rattled by the responsibilities of coaching at IU. Dusty May? Chris Beard? Maybe a guy like Ben McCollum? Hard to say. My gut tells me we end up with a hire that isn't sexy. Maybe someone like Brad Brownell. Whoever it is, I hope it is someone who gets me excited about IU and cbb again. I miss it.

I used to watch other games. IU becoming what they’ve become (unwatchable) has caused me to lose interest in college basketball as a whole. I got tired of watching other teams and saying to myself one of two things. Either “well, glad we don’t play them because we’d get embarrassed”, or “damn, I wonder if I’ll ever see IU play like that”.

My young days up til about 10 or so years ago, I'd watch every single day. I used to record the entire coverage from espn during the season. From the first postseason NIT game to the preseason NIT championship game before F4 weekend. Championship week to me, was more exciting than the Ncaa Tournament first weekend.

Now with all the changes in the game, growing older, etc, It's much different. I'd only watch IU play their games. Now I dont even do that anymore. Won't again until they care again.

I try to watch at least one game from a wide range of teams over the season. A lot of times that helps at tourney time because then I know how they play and who they have.
I watch a lot of Big Ten games thanks to rebroadcast and internet reposts.

Would have liked to have seen UK vs Ark tonight but had other plans.

Gaels are 10-0 in league play after a close win over the Zags.

ETA-Thats just shy of 13.5 hrs of hoops. Greatest game ever invented.
