Well in your mind everyone should get a trophy
oh man. One 20 point shellacking in conference, on the road and you guys are throwing in the towel...again...for the millionth time. Lol. By all means, give it up.

oh, you hate them? Lol
but we get you were spending more time here after IU football turned the corner since there wasn’t much to complain about any more. My guess is that Archie makes you pretty scarce around here too. Lol
Why do I feel like you are the only one in the thread, or board for that matter, who understands the ups and downs of a full season? lolI get that but it’s weird that our fans treat our season like a college football season. IU will still have a good season despite a clunker or two. Sparty lost to a crappy IU team at home last year. It happens...

Another stellar analysis from the “participation trophy” generation.
Everything is just fine with you.
they had more mature teams and even so OSU barely made the tourney last year.
One loss at Wisconsin and you guys start shoveling around the same tired bullshit.

I agree w/second part of statement. Def worse program vs size/passion of fanbase. I do expect them to come out and play well against Uconn.
Please tell me the last time that we have thrown in the towel and ending up being wrong? I am waiting.
You’ve lost track of your argument...
naaaw. We deserved to lose and we looked like shit. But this is......college basketball. Lolol
Theres a difference tho between playing grear or even good and losing to a better team... And playing bad or horrible and losing* to a worse talented team.
Iu was already going to struggle afer coming off that fsu game against the big ten because the big ten is loaded this year.
This IU team only now only compounds the problems dramatically weve learned after watching this game.
Being down by as many as 30 and continuing to get blown out shows this team WILL BE highly vulnerable.
Actually, this is......really bad college basketball.
I know, I know. Just one game.
Why do I feel like you are the only one in the thread, or board for that matter, who understands the ups and downs of a full season? lol
IU just upset a good Florida st team earlier in the week. Plenty of ranked teams have gone to Wisconsin and come away empty handed so I don’t understand all of the attitudes on here.
after Purdue had the 2012 and 2013 down years they started out the next season with losses to Gardner Webb, north Florida, and a 30 point loss to Notre dame before the team clicked. Point being that you’re correct about this just being one game in a long season.
it's five guys on a court in a state rich with tradition and talent. the posters who are so adamant about rebuilds taking 3-4 years are absurd. it's literally five guys. the espn college football pregame show just a few weeks ago said that the rebuild time for college football is now 2 years. coaches get 2 years. and that's football! yet somehow finding five guys who compete hard takes half a decade in the state of indiana. beyond stupid.why Didn’t OSu and Louisville rebuild not take long?
really racking up the deep thoughts today, huh?[/QU
mrs. millerreally racking up the deep thoughts today, huh?
the tired bullshit is the endless excuses from guys like you. miller is making a shit ton of money with the expectation that by year three we would at least be competitive against a lousy team in the big ten. yet, here we are, and we're not. enough with the excuses. at the end of the day it's only a game, but by now we shouldn't be losing by 20 points to a terrible team.they had more mature teams and even so OSU barely made the tourney last year.

Every year Archie has had at least a few games where the team failed the "I give a sh!t" test.
Getting blown out by an exceedingly mediocre team isn't a good start. At what point does that become unacceptable?

Indiana St, Ft. Wayne, Rutger in the BTT, losing 15 of 17 last year. Tonight... is that not every year?Every year??? He’s been here two years and 8 games. Lol
lmao have you ever won at anything in lifWhining......
after losses and making butt hurt absolute statements
It's annoying.
Lmao. In year eight you'll be saying "guys we're getting closer. the energy is improving and we've implemented motivation mondays to elevate all of our spirits. we're all getting a trophy." absurd. not to mention the amount of money being spent to field teams that don't even look like they're trying.Whining......

They have done well but I am unsure there was any rebuild involved. They both began with experienced and reasonably talented rosters, especially OSU. Both coaches are doing a terrific job but it is not like they brought programs from rock bottom. I know the theme for today will be to dramatically overreact to this terrible effort today. I prefer to wait and see if this is ongoing before going into full panic mode.why Didn’t OSu and Louisville rebuild not take long?

It's on me to expect effort? I will gladly own up to that.Yawn. Sorry you thought the rotting corpse of Crean’s last team would magically become a fundamentally sound team in year one or two. That’s on you.

wrong, yet again. It's predicated on what we've seen the last two years. have you or TMP ever played a sport? the body of work is more than enough to form an opinion. guys can make mistakes. guys can miss shots. guys can fail to execute. all okay. but a good coach makes guys give a 100 percent. a good coach gets guys to play their arses off. these guys today, like so many iu games in the past, put out a lousy effort. that's poor coaching. continue with the excuses or as tmp posts "people whining." wake up.oh man. One 20 point shellacking in conference, on the road and you guys are throwing in the towel...again...for the millionth time. Lol. By all means, give it up.

I wonder what it will take for Archie to show the passion like Bobby does here. Does Archie even have his own show or is he not entertaining enough to warrant one?
I have no idea what you're defending at this point. sports are a result-oriented endeavor and the results have been garbage. Anyway, certainly not worth banging my head against the wall that you and a few others have become. I'm going to enjoy a nice dinner and hope tonight was an anomaly for the season (hence turning a blind eye to the last two seasons). Enjoy the eveningyawn zzzzzz zzzz zzzzz
Im not saying to fire Miller.
But those who continue to say " lets wait to see if this is ongoing" is how we got stuck 9 years with Crean. This kind of thinking can not be acceptable , and of all fan bases that should know this is IU's
bsmitty08, bailey777, Stellara1, dbmhoosier, hoosier_est_1984, Big Red Crimson Buffalo: you'll all be pleased to know that Glass was so embarrassed that he's cancelled the rest of the season. So no need for you to post here until next year. See you guys in November.
Did you watch the game? Defense didn't have any intensity. We didn't rebound terribly well. There wasn't the effort and intensity we had vs FSU.Effort. Haha. Like you have any clue what that means. But it is something emotionally fragile people like to say after a yucky road loss at Wisconsin.
So how long until we expect Archie to get this program a rolling? Wisky is not good this year and they made us look like a JV teamthose two guys surrounded by other guys who were really going to have mature. We saw that working well last week. Took a step back today at a place where more than a few teams will take a step back. Lol.
but we get that ever Archie loss carries the weight of 30 year behind it. I guess I get it. Makes IU fans looks dumb and lazy, it I get it...
