I predict a lot of these responses to your post won't age well. They're giddy now, I believe there will be a time when it's clear that there has been clear overreach on Musk's part and/or he'll be on the outs with Trump and he'll make him a scapegoat/throw him under the bus for something. My hunch is that they're both keeping receipts and the twitter/X back and forth where they both lob insults and allegations at each other will be something to see.

This isn't some wishful thinking. This is a pattern Trump has followed with most business partners, board members, cabinet members and VPs all his life. It might not happen soon, but it'll happen before the end of his presidency.

If it doesn’t happen in a year, it will be game over.

Government has no rights. Only people do. I’m not impressed with anybody who argues about Musk’s processes. Who cares? Substance matters.
