He's obviously a hack, with degrees from diploma mills like
Princeton (bachelor’s degree in political science),
Columbia (master’s degree in international relations),
U.S. Naval War College (master's degree in national security and strategic studies), and
MIT (masters in National Security Studies).
He never even WENT to any prestigious schools such as Trump University or the Mr. Pillow Academy.

Some of it is. Particularly the evening people who generally are commentators, they definitely have a partisan position they are pushing. Anyone viewing those networks should view them through that filter. Just like people like Cuomo and Joy Reid have their filter.
If you thought that literal American Hitler was in charge of the country and you saw what was happening on Jan. 6, would you have stood by? General Milley stood by. His actions do not match his rhetoric. His rhetoric does resonate with people such as yourself though and that is the point after the fact.
In June 2020 when he was probably uttering things like this, he was being roundly criticized for appearing with Trump at Lafayette Square and people calling for his resignation. Now all those same people are saying what a hero he is. Funny that. You can be "smart" and still be a political animal.
Don’t you know that this is a concerted effort by his former aids just because they think he’s a bad person? Just like the effort by the entire world to participate in a global lockdown over COVID 19, so it would ruin the American economy and Trump would lose the 2020 election. So you see, it’s not that Trump is really a bad person it’s that most of the world thinks he’s a bad person, because they don’t want a republican to have any success.
This is my interpretation of most of the right’s narrative of how the world sees things. Especially, the libtards and MSM.
If you read his concerns, you realize that he did not "stand by". He was focused, sucessfully, on completely preventing any military support for the Jan 6 events, which he saw coming. He led a group planning to resign should they be forced to rally military support. He wanted added security and preparation, sure, but Trump prevented that.
He wanted it to be crystal clear that the insurgents were a nutjob consortium of Nazi, proud boys, militia wannabes, and Trump rumpswabs with no support by any facet of the military.
Milley is an incompetent self-promoting Trump-Hating jackass. He was commanding officer at Ft Hood when Major Hassan committed mass murder. The Army had many indications that Hassan was a nut, but the Army looked the other way because Hassan was a Muslim. Then the Army Command tried to say the mass murder was workplace violence as it first denied a Purple Heart to Milley’s troops who were victims of that slaughter. After January 6, the federalized national guard who were guarding the Capitol got to sleep on the concrete floors in a parking garage in January while Milley sat his fat ass in his cushy Pentagon office ranting about WHITE RAGE! and a Trump coup. Then Milley ordered investigations into Trump sympathizers in the ranks.
General Milley makes me want to vomit.

This revelation from Milley is absolutely no surprise whatsoever for those of us paying attention to the clear message from Trump all along that he wouldn't agree to accept defeat.

Are you saying Milley’s quotes are made up? I think the real story here is that a senior military official took the idea that a sitting US President might incite a coup seriously enough to plan for it.
That’s a pretty big deal and no amount of right wing gas lighting is going to soften that. As long as his power was threatened, Trump was - and is - a threat to our democracy.
Sitting in the right chairs does not impress me as an accomplishment. The report about the U S Navy was a shocker. Of all the things the Chairman of The Joint Chiefs has on his plate, understanding WHITE RAGE! on January 6 is way down the list. The military has no domestic role to play about that anyway.

Exactly. Milley feared (and even expected) that the POTUS was going to improperly demand military support for his planned Turd Reich. Milley forged alliances with others in the administration to plan to resign en masse should that be forced upon them. A "reverse Saturday night massacre". It's great that it did not come to that. Maybe Lex Loser's henchmen smelled out the "disloyalty" in advance.

Sure sounds like Trump thought at least a little bit how he would do things "If I was going to do a coup....". Otherwise, how else do those words even come out of his mouth?
Maybe this isn't entirely fair to you, but it's getting to the point where it seems like complete and utter BS that anyone who veers even slightly off Trump's "I'm awesome and should still be president train" is labeled a moron, idiot or incompetent.
At this point I don't think anything will convince the most ardent Trump ass kissers that he's a fraud and a large-scale grifter, which he has been for the better part of the last three decades.
