Canadian trucker protest coming to the states very soon

I doubt it the states are droppoing restrictions in droves the last few days. Even blue states. Must be election season soon!
Yeah, where's all the outrage like when Florida and Texas took off the mask mandate?

You'd love it there. Very progressive. The government treats everyone equally and they all get what they need.
He would probably love Canada too especially in the bigger cities like Toronto. Incredibly liberal and so called free healthcare. But the catch is I went once to Winnipeg and the tax on everyting was insane. The hotel tax, food tax, beer, etc. I think it was 25 or 30 bucks for a six pack so you are still paying unless you do not consume much of anything. I think there were four differnet types of taxes on the hotel bill. I have also never in my life seen so many people going down the street in wheelchairs. Makes you wonder just how good is this vaunted national healthcare !

It's why they come across the border when they don't want to wait forever for basic surgeries.

Yep but I mean literally dozens of people in wheelchairs in a couple of hours. I have never seen anything like it was just on a regular street near my hotel. Oh I did not even mention the shape the roads were in. Good lord beyond awful.

Supposedly going to start out west and move east, hope it works so I can get my freedom back
Not really going to happen here. If they try it they will be arrested and their trucks towed. Protest over. Not sure WTF the Canadians are doing allowing commerce to be impeded indefinitely.

I'm against mandates, but the sumbitch who blocks my road - BLM, antifact, Canuck Truckers Against Truedough - kcuf them.

Drive and honk? OK.
Tape signs and carry flags? OK.
Keep it moving? OK.
Block ME? Screw that. Your rights end at my nose.

This Covid stuff is almost over, as are the mandates.
Covid is now a cold for 99.999999% of people.
Those of us with special circumstances can take care of ourselves without some Prime Miniprick from the Canadian Mounties - or Washington - or Frankfort - OR a truck - to keep telling me what to do or interfering with MY RIGHTS to go about MY BIDNESS AS I SEE FIT.

Too many whiny bitches all over the place these days.

And yes - i know I'm whining.

Exactly! F those truckers blocking roads. Total BS. Mow them down with tanks

These clowns are f$cking up the auto supply chain already. Enough. Knock it off.
As people dig deeper into these "worker's protests" a lot of questions begin emerging. Who are these "truckers" protesting against vaccine mandates that Canadians by and large support? With 80% of Canadians vaccinated and 90% of truckers also vaxed, which truckers do these folks represent?

And why aren't they protesting and advocating for worker's rights that seek to improve working conditions for all Canadian truckers, rather than the fringe minority opposed to the vaccine? Some sites are reporting that the impetus for the blockade is coming from owners of trucking companies, which would certainly explain why there is no focus on actual worker's rights...

Not to mention the "rights" of the citizens of Ottawa. Interesting development with this lawsuit filed this week seeking 9.8 Million in (Canadian) Dollars against the organizers. Imagine as this case goes to court and more digging occurs, some questions will begin to emerge.

I just wonder if some people in the States realize what cause they are contributing money to? Many people have reported lots of swastikas and Nazi paraphanlia, as well as Confederate flags nestled among the protestors. There's a certain "Charlottesville" vibe emanating from some of these "freedom fighters", including reports of violence and harassment directed towards locals.

The whispers of white supremacy are getting louder, which some of the protestors are pushing back against. Problem is when Patrick King is one of your main organizers and visible spokesmen, it's pretty hard to disassociate your movement from his blatant racism...He isn't hiding it...

If a protest occurs in the U.S. what exactly would they be protesting? There is no federal mandate for vaccination that applies to truckers. Public and private trucking firms may have them bit it is not being mandated by the federal government. I am not sure if there are any states with such mandates.

You should keep your socialist views to yourself and look over your shoulder for the big guy in a white shirt. I went back and watched the Patrick King clip about 4 times. I support Patrick 1000 percent.
