Calipari/Kentucky

For some reason or another, I was really hoping Calipari would take Arkansas further in the tournament than UK went. Almost happened.

I know he's sleazey and slimey, but I almost like him now that he isn't coaching down south.
Had Boogie not gotten hurt, I feel like they would have made a run like they did in 2011 with Brandon Knight. Only coming up short in the F4 as well this time.

He obviously wasn't near the player he was before he got injured, but I think it helped them out. They seemed to play a little more team ball w/o him. If Bland couldv'e given them much at all, they probably make a deeper run.

Had a friend who's Dad was a well-known college coach and was working for the Grizzlies at the tail end of his career when he got cancer, and Cal was at Memphis. He'd been out of the college game for quite awhile and she said Cal was the best at following up with, checking on her Dad and stopping in to see him. Never liked his personality, but that was a nice thing to do, and he wasn't doing it for the spotlight or attention. I also think he does care about his players. There's good in a lot of people, even if you don't see it on the surface.

I was surprised they made it and had a hard time picking ARK vs Kansas as each greatly underperformed this season.
