Well, we agree to disagree. I’m a mustard guy in general, and I also put mustard in my egg salad, for sandwiches. Mayo is the right condiment for these sandwiches. I can’t think of others I’d put it on.
There's nothing wrong with Miracle Whip. It's basically mayo but with less fat and more sugar.
This, and also fried egg sandwiches. And chicken salad.
My potato salad is mostly mustard, but it includes a small amount of mayo, too. Egg salad is more 50/50.

Forgot about chicken salad. Obviously not a sandwich but potato salad needs mayo and mustard. Same with deviled eggs.
I will eat mayonnaise-based stuff…I just don’t see its application as a condiment on a sandwich.
