i can’t believe how many clueless crybabies are here. If you can’t support the program then don’t come back when it’s successful. IU will still get 20 wins this year and next year will be better...WITH ARCHIE! Do everyone a favor, if you are going to jump just do it! If you can’t see the challenges facing the program, improvements that have been made and a positive future then you can’t be helped.

If we beat all of @Illinois, Rutgers twice, Ohio St, @Minny and Wisky which would be a total of six wins. While those games are reasonably winnable I'm not sure of the likelihood of winning all of them. Michigan hasn't been playing that good lately we may have a shot at them Friday. We play both Mich St and Iowa twice yet and Purdue again this time at Bloomington - I don't have a good feeling about any of those. But maybe with a win or two in the B1G tourney -- I'd like to think 20 wins is an outside possibility but it will take an immediate and substantial turnaround in our play, especially shooting, compared to our current level. If we can't beat N'western who can we beat - Illinois & Penn State?

You can be critical without being an ass. Archie has been the coach for 1.5 seasons and idiots are wanting to hire Steve Alford. These morons actually think they know more that the IU Coaches.

I agree when archie put the roster together, he didnt figure on DD being hurt, w/o Race & Jerome for most of season. That puts the 3pt shooter you brought in to play down low in a physical league which is not in his DNA. Romeo is a great kid but doesnt seem to have that killer mentality on a consistent basis and I think phin has the making of being an all time great but is stl a freshman
This team and Archie have been dealt a difficult situation with the injuries. Archie is a great coach, but might not be great enough to get over the hump with this group.

Comments like that are nonsense. At no point has Archie been a great coach. Archie had a good run at a mid-major and has struggled at IU. Having a good run at a mid-major school doesn't make someone a great coach. Jay Wright, Tom Izzo, Coach K, Cal, and etc. are what great coaches look like.
I don't have anything against Archie and if I'm being honest, I like him, but IU has looked like shit through his first 50 games. If that trend continues he should be fired after year 3. It has shit to do with whining.

I'm taking the current skid with a wait and see attitude. Teams can have periods where their performance is below expectation. Our slump hit while we play 5/7 on the road and play UM at home.
I will wait to see if we recover in time, or at all, to finish strong. Devonte's issue is worse than an injury. I am sure the players liked him. It takes a toll on the team.
The UM game is another gut check. I haven't lost faith in Archie. I'm in it for the long run. If you see a fan boo this team, please punch them in the throat.
I think the UM game and Rutgers game will make or break the season at this point. If we get blown out tonight I think its safe to say the playeres have mailed it in on the season.

People seriously need to read The Legends Club. Don’t know how Archie will turn out, but there is a lot of parallels to when Coach K first started at Duke.

With the way this guy twists and rationalizes things to fit his arguments I doubt very much any book would help him. Archie’s Elite 8 Dayton team was 13-8 and had lost 5 of 6 due to injuries. Very similar to this IU team...I’m holding onto hope that this team can turn it around and have a similar result.
I don't know if he's the worst. I think he posts this stuff as Schtick just to get trash talk going. If not schtick then you are probably right. He often contradicts himself. One day Archie didn't recruit enough talent then the next day he has talent and can't coach a lick.
Hope you are right but getting on track in the Big 10 this year is certainly much tougher than in A10.

This is a forum cutter but I guess unlike you we must be watching a different Indiana team because the one I'm watching is not the Indiana basketball I grew up on.. You know blocking people out, not turning the ball over, playing team basketball not one on one.
I don't want Miller fired right now but if we don't make the tournament this season or next I don't see why he deserves a 4th year? I mean were going to lose Romeo and Morgan who the hell is going to step up on this roster and fill those shoes? I mean Jackson and maybe Brooks score half that amount and unless Anderson. Moore, Smith, Hunter, have James Harden type of scoring we are in trouble next year.
You never know how a "team" comes together until they get together.
Remember that school VBG from Chicago last year and I could go on and on about similar teams in the last 55 years, including a few that I coached that I honestly didn't think had a prayer until the season progressed.
