Can’t imagine that we will pursue him. He’s the prototypical drop back pocket passer and that’s just not what we need. We know it and he knows it.Is IU anywhere in the picture for him ?
He graduated from Gibson Southern and it’s spelled Newburgh.Purdue's RS Freshman QB former 4-star from Newberg IN. is in the transport portal. Will he follow Brohm to Louisville?
Thnx.He graduated from Gibson Southern and it’s spelled Newburgh.
No he is a pocket passer. Is IU anywhere in the picture for him ?
Maybe him coming would help Bolstad get 8 blocks of limestone in the Portal and future recruiting? Can’t imagine that we will pursue him. He’s the prototypical drop back pocket passer and that’s just not what we need. We know it and he knows it.
Brohm may run a LOT of Satterfields guys off.Interesting because the other kid formerly under Brohm at Purdue, Jack Plummer, transferred from Purdue to Cal at the end of 2021. Now, Plummer is in the transfer portal again and showing as a transfer to Louisville for the 2023 season.
No he is a pocket pas
Should take a look at him. He's an Indiana kid that's a four star . He went to purdont because of Brohm so there's good reason to get the hell out .No he is a pocket passer.
NO way he doesn't fit the type of QB IU is after.Should take a look at him. He's an Indiana kid that's a four star . He went to purdont because of Brohm so there's good reason to get the hell out .
Odd. Why would Plummer follow Brohm to UofL after Brohm didn't play him at Purdue?Interesting because the other kid formerly under Brohm at Purdue, Jack Plummer, transferred from Purdue to Cal at the end of 2021. Now, Plummer is in the transfer portal again and showing as a transfer to Louisville for the 2023 season.
If he doesn't fit the scheme it doesn't matter. That is why some top QBs that go into the NFL flop, they just don't fit those schemes. If he would transfer to IU dual QB or not, he would be #1 .
Exactly. We would take him in a heartbeat. Zero doubt we’ll reach out.If he would transfer to IU dual QB or not, he would be #1 .
He fit it last year and would very likely fit it at sometime during the 2023 season. We would take him without hesitation.NO way he doesn't fit the type of QB IU is after.
Wow. Walters makes an early recruiting splash
Scheme would be changed just like they have changed it many times in the pastIf he doesn't fit the scheme it doesn't matter. That is why some top QBs that go into the NFL flop, they just don't fit those schemes.
Take Allen over Card any day.
I think the big reason they went with card is experience and mobility and still able to run the air raidTake Allen over Card any day.
I’m sure this has more to do with Harrell being a Texas guy and prior relationship.I am surprised that Card didn't go to Louisville. That would fit nicely.
I agree thi signing has more to do with Harrell coaching at PU just as Sudfeld coming to IU was due to Littrel being named OC at IU.I’m sure this has more to do with Harrell being a Texas guy and prior relationship.
^^this^^Didn’t they also hire Graham Harrell as OC?
He won’t be there long but that’s a hire that says they will continue to air it out.
Those two programs will quickly be heading in opposite directions.I am surprised that Card didn't go to Louisville. That would fit nicely.
Which two programs? Purdue and Louisville? Don't anticipate Purdue falling to trash. Those two programs will quickly be heading in opposite directions.
Purdue fans would be pretty happy with consistently winning 7-8 with a 9 win season every few years. With competent coaching Purdue will always be just a 6-8 win team. Which always made me laugh when their fans talked about Brohm taking them to the next level. There is no next level at Purdue. Just continued mediocrity.
Walters will be no different. If he can put together a competent staff, Purdue will be no better than a 6-8 win program. They will never be a major player, just mediocre.
An that note... When will IU be perennially mediocre? I'd love to see it happen...
This would be a good post for your own board.Wow. Walters makes an early recruiting splash
And NIL was apparently not a priority for Card, so that helped.I think the big reason they went with card is experience and mobility and still able to run the air raid
He is a quality QB but a pocket guy that is unlikely to suceed with our current OL situation. Season after next...maybe.If he doesn't fit the scheme it doesn't matter. That is why some top QBs that go into the NFL flop, they just don't fit those schemes.
Where you see that? Obviously Purdue isn't out NIL ing the big boys, but they haven't lost anybody to NILAnd NIL was apparently not a priority for Card, so that helped.
Hudson Card has never run an “air raid” in his college careerI think the big reason they went with card is experience and mobility and still able to run the air raid
But he can throw the ball, pick up first downs, etc. Purdue isn't running a true air raid. Just concepts. Probably be 55-45 pass to run.Hudson Card has never run an “air raid” in his college career
lol, those Triple X gift cards are awesome.Where you see that? Obviously Purdue isn't out NIL ing the big boys, but they haven't lost anybody to NIL
Who has transfered for more NIL? Purdue is giving put NIL to players.lol, those Triple X gift cards are awesome.
"they haven't lost anybody to NIL"
