If you compare his responses this time around versus four years ago, I think he's definitely considering it...as he should.

Sounded like a man who was dealt an option he couldn't ignore. Certainly sounded contemplative about it on the spot.
He would be a fool to say no. At $6 million a year?? Yeah sure he's gonna turn that down bc muh Celtics. lol. right.

Gotta think that 8 yrs in Boston could wear a little on a couple with strong Midwestern roots. Maybe they are ready to come home.
Everybody loves a good story, and Brad taking the IU job would be a great story. This is real life Hoosiers (film) stuff.
Or he knows he’s going to break an entire state’s heart and he feels bad about it but he’s still gonna do it.
Brad is the guy. $40 million/6 years. Take it to the bank.
Joey is an awesome guy who was born, raised and lives in Indy.
Brad coming to IU would transcend the game of basketball in this state. It would be one of the most significant cultural events the state has seen in quite some time.
You’d need to give him more than a six year deal. Archie got seven.
This is the home run we’ve been looking for since Knight left. I think the NBA has him worn down and this is the job to make his way back home.
Brad certainly sounds like a guy who wants to come home. I didn’t realize his dad still lives here.

This is the most important hiring decision since Knight was fired and Brad's the only coach talked about on here that nobody says, "I think he'd be good here, but/I don't want him because (insert reason here)".
Ok I listened to the entire clip. I don’t want to buy into this, because doing so only to be let down is something I don’t have the energy for. That said...his statements are curious. This was his chance to say “ I’m flattered , I’m thankful for the warm thoughts from IU nation...but I AINT GOING TO IU !!! Get it thru you’re thick Fn heads and MOVE ON!! “. But ...he doesn’t say anything remotely close. Curious. Not sure what to make of it
