You do know that the majority of people fleeing "socialist" regimes in Cuba and Venezuela particularly are likely to be right wing GOP voters, right? Obviously Elon Musk is too stupid to know that,when he somehow claims that the Biden admin is bringing in "voters".
So why do YOU feel he is bringing in LEGAL immigrants from coutries like Cuba and Venezuela that are fleeing govts that the GOP in particular has been railing against for the past decade? Like when that idiot Sidney Powell claimed the voting machines were a plot that somehow Chavez concocted to "hurt Trump" before he (Chavez) died in 2013. The truth is the OP's original link provides insight into the MAGA xenophobia. They claim that they are for "legal immigration", but in reality they are opposed to immigration in general, not just "illegals". They don't want "those people" here, even when many of those people would likely align with the GOP when it comes to voting. We all already knew this, they're just saying the quiet part out loud and couching it in terms that continue to try and camoflage their duplicity.

No. I am concerned who is coming and the number. Illegal immigration does have negative impacts on U.S. citizens, especially the working class. Also, I want to add more doctors, engineers, and professionals. Most of those immigrants aren’t crossing the border illegally.
Edit: I’ll add if they get the number back to 500k or close to what long term trends were when Obama was in office, it becomes a nonissue for myself.

If this was on the up and up, why does the Biden administration act like they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar? They still keep the details of this very public issue a secret. So much for transparency.
And where in the hell do we find the money for this anyway? With veterans and homeless living in tents, addicted to God knows what, and badly in need of mental health care, and no money to help these people, we find the dough to bring in millions of homeless migrants, give them free transportation, food, shelter ( in fancy hotels) and other bennies? If you wanna pretend that we need all these third- world refugees, why don’t people organize a bake sale to pay the freight?

Targeting certain professionals for legal immigration has been abused. The clearest example is the Tech H1B Visa. Driving down costs to the tech giants is abuse of immigration law, as is letting in millions of unskilled laborers. We need a balanced system of legal immigration, but politics makes that impossible now.
