Maga is no where near half of the country.
NC is as tight as it is becuase of Danc's guy Robinson. What a whack job.I actually think she could win the state. And she must agree because she held a huge rally in Raliegh today...
Don't underestimate the negative effect of having a scumbag like Robinson heading the ticket and being the top Republcan in NC. Trump has desperately tried to distance himself from his buddy Robinson, despite enthusiastically endorsing Robinson and characterizing him as MLK on steroids.
Not saying she's going to win NC, but at least it's an actual battleground state. Not like Trump indulging his fantasy of trying to win New Mexico, Minnesota,VA or NH which may be tight in some polls, but the trends in early voting show a drastic difference from the polls. Trump is reportedly going to visit New Mexico and Minnesota.I' m all for it, a fool searching for foll's gold...
You’re assuming the offense taken (in either case) is authentic. As an independent observer I will telll you that the Trumpers are every bit as soft and easy to offend as the Libs.
Every bit.
Soy boy is a tough guySome of them get offended by emojis. Weak ass lil' b's...
He insulted Trump voters, which is a hell of a lot more people than the MAGA’s.Maga is no where near half of the country.
Also during that time support for Republicans has drastically decreased compared to the 80s. There are obviously other factors for it, as well, but Democrats controlling the MSM is the main driver in my opinion. It's why Elon buying X was such a big deal. I talked to a liberal guy yesterday who was complaining about the comedian's joke and had no clue of Biden's comment. I think eventually it will pierce his bubble, because of X. Prior to X there is zero percent chance of him finding out. Lastly, I think the affects of X will grow in significance each election. A good majority of people in their 70s, 60s, & 50s still trust MSM, get most of their information from it, and form their world view around it. Not the case with the younger generation on average.
Not to split hairs, but is it possible to vote for a person without being a "supporter" of that person? He insulted Trump voters, which is a hell of a lot more people than the MAGA’s.
Anyone who gets their news from MSM knows about Biden's comment. Everyone covered it.Also during that time support for Republicans has drastically decreased compared to the 80s. God, you guys are softHe insulted Trump voters, which is a hell of a lot more people than the MAGA’s.
Sorry but I have seen what soft sheep both BLM rioters and Jan 6 rioters are. You’re assuming the offense taken (in either case) is authentic.
Pretty much all outrage you see in a political context is feigned - the belief being that it will influence people who aren’t full-bore members of either tribe.
Not to split hairs, but is it possible to vote for a person without being a "supporter" of that person?
Absolutely, I have never and will never vote for Trump, but I mostly despise harris and her stance on almost everything. I blame the Pubs for putting all of us in this untenable position. Not to split hairs, but is it possible to vote for a person without being a "supporter" of that person?
Shouldn't you be equally blaming both sides?Absolutely, I have never and will never vote for Trump, but I mostly despise harris and her stance on almost everything. I blame the Pubs for putting all of us in this untenable position.
So the Republicans have a normal primary where millions vote and they nominate a candidate you don't like. Dems hold no primary well actually they rig it so people like RFK have no shot. Then they stage a coup against the sitting President and anoint a candidate you don't like. But somehow the choices you dislike for the election are all the Republicans fault. Makes sense.Absolutely, I have never and will never vote for Trump, but I mostly despise harris and her stance on almost everything. I blame the Pubs for putting all of us in this untenable position.
If all of that is true, Kristof should not have a job in journalism. That's appalling.
OK. But you're talking about tiny numbers of people there.Sorry but I have seen what soft sheep both BLM rioters and Jan 6 rioters are.
That's the right response. Good for her.
Of course. There are a lot of people who will vote for Harris simply because they perceive the alternative to be unacceptable. Same goes the other way.Not to split hairs, but is it possible to vote for a person without being a "supporter" of that person?
So, since Biden is all of a sudden not senile, did he insult Trump "supporters" or Trump "voters"?Of course. There are a lot of people who will vote for Harris simply because they perceive the alternative to be unacceptable. Same goes the other way.
Yes, there's nothing the Democrats hate more than a pro-life Republican black man. So, they'll smear him as much as possible and throw every kind of accusation at him.NC is as tight as it is becuase of Danc's guy Robinson. What a whack job.
Are you admitting he's senile? So, since Biden is all of a sudden not senile, did he insult Trump "supporters" or Trump "voters"?
I haven't looked into it very closely. My money's on Community Notes. It does a pretty good job separating the wheat from the chaff. If all of that is true, Kristof should not have a job in journalism. That's appalling.
Don't use the word "our" here. Your views are shaped by laundry and the entertainment media that promotes that laundry. i hate all of them.OK. But you're talking about tiny numbers of people there.
We gotta be aware when we're being handed a magnifying glass -- and other things that are designed to shape our views.
They are reporting the news? Informing?Fox News website has picked ip the slack by running literally 20+ stories on this travesty in the last 2 days.
I'm not really sure what you mean by "laundry" -- but OK.Don't use the word "our" here. Your views are shaped by laundry and the entertainment media that promotes that laundry. i hate all of them.
No, because Kerry recognizes and supports the First Amendment.I haven't looked into it very closely. My money's on Community Notes. It does a pretty good job separating the wheat from the chaff.
That said, this sort of thing is common throughout all major media. They're far less interested in informing us than they are in influencing us. And I don't think it's at all uncommon for them to tell half of a story in order to do that.
This is why I'm so thankful for social media -- and so incredibly put off when the John Kerrys of the world muse about "how you curb those entities". Assuming I'm right about Community Notes, then we know the truth about this story *because* of social media, not in spite of it.
Is Kerry and the like talking about "curbing" the New York Times and Nick Kristof?
I’m not a doctor, so I can’t make that call.Are you admitting he's senile?
Hyperventilating. They are reporting the news? Informing?
Do you believe he's mentally fit to be President right now?I’m not a doctor, so I can’t make that call.
Others make the determination based on their own needs at the time. It changes frequently.
And he regrets it being there in the context of social media -- because, if it weren't, it would be easier for them to curb those entities as he wishes to do....as governments elsewhere in the world are doing. No, because Kerry recognizes and supports the First Amendment.
Why doesn't every non-Trump (and some Trump) voters just put that in their signature quotes so they don't have to repeat it in their posts?*obligatory-I-don't-like-Trump-either disclaimer
Once again, my ignorance of his condition remains steadfast. I have never argued either way. Others have. Still others change their arguments based on the circumstances.Do you believe he's mentally fit to be President right now?
I don't think you can call out others for their inconsistency on this issue without addressing that, because it highlights a huge problem. If you're going to chalk up Biden's statement to senility or decreased mental faculty, it just raises the further question: why is he still the President and why did Harris cover up for him? *
*obligatory-I-don't-like-Trump-either disclaimer
I was answering your question. And he regrets it being there in the context of social media -- because, if it weren't, it would be easier for them to curb those entities as he wishes to do....as governments elsewhere in the world are doing.
So, I agree he recognizes it. I will not agree with you that he supports it -- not in this context, anyway.
To that, I have only one retort:Once again, my ignorance of his condition remains steadfast. I have never argued either way. Others have. Still others change their arguments based on the circumstances.
Nice dodge. He’s been unfit for some time. The Dem’s finally decided he was after his debate performance and organized a coup to replace him on the ticket.Once again, my ignorance of his condition remains steadfast. I have never argued either way. Others have. Still others change their arguments based on the circumstances.
What did I dodge? You don’t know shit about his fitness. You have opinions which are not the same thing.Nice dodge. He’s been unfit for some time. The Dem’s finally decided he was after his debate performance and organized a coup to replace him on the ticket.
As for this last statement regarding Trump Supporters, Kamala has to own it because she still says he’s sharp. His cabinet has to own it too since they haven’t tossed him.
I suspect Bulk was trying to dunk on me until you headed him off at the pass. Are you admitting he's senile?
