I read article about this years team last night after the game. Archie does not have a upper classman he can rely on ever game to make that shot. Last night Brunk manned up down the stretch. Some nights it Green or Durham. People forget Archie has had two recruiting classes. Crean didn't do him any favors either. I want to see them kicking butt like everyone else. If you really watched the game last night. Coach sat some guys down for lack of effort on defense. Archie is figuring out who he can trust to play both ends. I'll be watching to see the evolution of this roster and who plays..

I saw Archie smile for the first time all year when talking about RP at halftime. Getting him back is critical. Archie finally has a guy on the court that will follow the game plan and execute the offense as a true PG. RP will play in control and limit the times Green has to touch the ball.
It will take RP time to get into shape and feel comfortable shooting the ball. By January, we will see what the team is capable of. Archie has been playing a shell game until now and hiding our defensive and floor leadership issues.

In one thread, I posted that one of 3 players, I believe including Brunk and Durham needed to step up and pull their head outta their @55. Brunk came up big in the back end of the second half when he manned up, and Durham made some decisive drives that scored big time. In the end, they showed great value....
We’ll probably be alright. But I think we will definitely see peaks and valleys.
