Dan's trying very hard to not appear to be an IU homer. He's succeeding.
This is indeed a bizarro world. We could never ever beat those guys even when we were ranked. We constantly got owned. Now, with one of our worst teams in the past 25 years, we find a way to win against a ranked Wisconsin. Truly strange but welcome.
Beat two ranked teams and play horribly against the lower tier teams. Too little, too late but a win is a win.
Probably because we are slowly evolving into a team that plays like Wisc.
Believe it or not... MY season is complete. NoVertical lives and breathes for the good guys to beat Wiskyburg... I HATE EVERYTHING BUCKYVILLE! Suck on that one! DOWN GOES BUCKY!
Well, I cannot argue the gritty play. Wish it was more sustained. We still do just enough to shoot ourselves in the foot at times and seem to try to give games away through some knucklehead decisions but if we can work those out, we might be on to something better. The discomfort of our team and staff running plays in crunch time is still a concern.
Our guard play is terrible....Rob will be fine as he matures, has good natural instincts, but things aren't quite there for him.
Green is a disaster and shouldn't play. We need another guard, hope that Franklin is on Rob's level...and that Hunter can return and fill Romeo's scoring role, at least partially. Race looks like a baller.
I think we see 5 new faces for next year.... if they all can play Archie's style of gritty ball with good BB instincts, I think we will be fine.
