Nike is undoubtedly involved in the same pay-for-play schemes as Adidas. Prior to Adidas, Merl Code worked for Nike for 14 years and was recorded by the FBI discussing Nike schools paying players. Three of the assistant coaches arrested were from Arizona, USC and Oklahoma State, all Nike schools. I think Nike is more selective - they"re paying the Zion Williamsons, not the #30 recruits like Brian Bowen, they're paying larger dollars, and they're more sophisticated -- harder to catch or prove.
