Fake at. However there was one in Southeast Asia that was pulled out by a backhoe. Reticulated python. At least 20 feet. Assholes killed it.

They pulled in maybe 800 on the roundup last year. Not a drop in the bucket.

We used to call it Alligator Alley. Now it is Python Plaza. But Snake rd was always there, hell of an exit.

Wonder why people are so afraid of snakes? They want to get away from you if they can. I grew up with a lot of snakes around so they don't bother me. I took this picture about 10 years ago in CO. He was definitely mad at me ... was rattling those rattles and ready to strike.

The funny thing about that trip is that we had been going to CO every year for quite a few years because that is where my wife grew up and had never seen a rattlesnake. On that trip we saw two. We saw the one below earlier because my wife had almost stepped on it. It was in front of a big sign for the Colorado National Grasslands. I dropped quite a few little gravel on it trying to get it to crawl off because I was afraid someone else would step on it and get bit. It was in the 50s that morning and I never could get it to move and there was no stick around.

Our local grocery store has python fillets. I have yet to try it, primarily because I would be the only one in our house who would touch it. Hopefully the price comes down given the "harvest" in Florida.
