I don't have a wife to do my cleaning and maintaining 1700 ft.² on my own it's too damn long. I'd rather enjoy my Saturday and Sundays and pay someone $80 every three weeks to keep my house looking clean.

But do yourself a favor and have them come every 2 weeks, not once a month. Trust me on this.

Once you have a cleaning service...you'll never go back to doing it yourself (other than spot cleaning in between the 2 weeks).

I had one when I lived in Chicago and it was wonderful

I'm not a slob by any means but you just maintain things and keep it in relatively decent shape and every three weeks somebody comes by and makes it look spotless.

I'd try thumbtack...get an individual, not a company. Most companies suck and who knows who will be in your house each time.

We pay a lady. $65 every 2 weeks, well worth it. Once a month, things will start to build up a bit much
