After a lackluster season last year, the team has clearly regressed this year. And that’s on Archie.
Does that mean he should be fired? No. But it does mean that he has to acknowledge it, own it, and fix it. If he’s unable to do that, then of course his seat will get hot....as well it should.
If not, then being chronically mediocre isn’t a bug, it’s a feature.
That’s why we’re not elite. UK would do it this year and we all know it. We don’t deserve to be great again.

He’s actually going to continually get players, because that’s what IU does.
He’ll continue to misuse them and waste them, as IU has for the past 18 years or so.

How is CAM a good coach? I keep hearing this and see zero improvement and a terrible team versus decent teams. At least Holtman at OSU has had some flashes and great wins.

I wouldn’t call them morons, but it’s definitely premature and an exercise in futility. Archie isn’t going anywhere and should get at least 3 years.
Also, I don’t want Fred Glass or McBob making anymore hires for basketball or football. Glass is incapable of making a great hire. His crowning achievement is hiring a mid-major coach who won less than 70% of their games.

There are like 4-5 retrograde morons on here that seem to be fully erect now that IU has gone on a 4 game slump. It's very bizarre behavior.
If one reviews Archie's record at Dayton they would see it took until about a month of conference play of his 3rd season before that program really turned the corner....and then it was consistent winning/improvement from then forward through his 6th season.
I expect we are looking at a similar trajectory and timeline here. If by year 4 or 5 we are still struggling, then it would be time for a reasonable debate.
Until then, it's just noise. We all know he will be here at least that long.
