Social Emotional Learning.....we’ve talked about it on here a couple of times. It is those supposedly universal values. Buts some parents don’t want it taught in school....only reading, writing, arithmetic, Per se....
I can see why they don't want you teaching it.

Ha. Back in the stone age when I was in elementary school, I was graded in “deportment“

That was stopped when the educrats figured out it damaged kids. Just think how sweet I would be if I never was graded on my deportment.

So you’d be thrilled if Biden created the Department of Deportment?

🙄

@IUCrazy2, I trust you write that in good faith. What you describe sounds horrible. The only element of truth in it is that L Ron Hubbard founded Scientology and wrote science fiction. I have been a Scientologist for almost 40 years and what you describe is utterly and entirely unrecognizable to me. I have not been bilked for one cent and I know of no one else who has been.

Incidentally, I wouldn’t describe it as raising consciousness so much as raising awareness and knowingness. To me, awareness is best understood as willingness to confront, and Scientology is best understood as knowing how to know. You might be surprised to find out Scientology is as far from a belief system as empirical science can get.

Not that anyone expects you to believe that… 😎
Yikes

They called it citizenship for a long time. But there are still categories of behavior reported on in schools I’m familiar with.
