IU loses to Furman, 5-1, coming up just short of a weekend sweep. Furman was just 7-14 coming into the game, and IU lost to a pitcher that was 0-7 coming into the game. Foor got the loss for IU.

Actually, Foor came on in the 6th inning with it being 1-1 at the end of it. She was the pitcher of record when the winning run crossed the plate in the 7th.Reading the box score, Goodin pitched 5.2 innings and gave up 2 runs. IU was down 2-1 when Foor came in in the 7th innning and gave up an add on run. How does Foor get the loss?

Yeah, I hadn't noticed that, but it is clearly wrong. Goodin left the game in the 6th and that inning ended with the score being 1-1.I think the box score is wrong then. Because it said the Goodin gave up 2 earned runs. If the runs were attributable to Goodin, then it should have been her loss, no?
