Basically, analysts set a $13 target price, and it was trading in the $17-$19 range until Jan. 12. Apparently people in a Reddit group noticed a lot of shorts and decided to do something about it (although some of them started in August when the stock was at ~$5). They started buying and right now the stock is at $343 (it's up 130% today alone). The shorts have been taken to the cleaners, including some large hedge funds, and regulators are up in arms over what, if anything, can be done. Meanwhile, the Redditors have been buying call options and some have made millions. Of course it will all come back to earth at some point, but Wall Street is pissed.

And the Redditors are not done. They've turned some of their attention to AMC (up 255% today). Heard others mentioned, including Blackberry and the company liquidating Blockbuster (BLIAQ is up 3500% for the year - that is not a typo).

Really fun evening and excellent atmosphere to say the least. I was fortunate enough to go with my Dad which was an added bonus. First off the new football coach is just awesome, if he can bring the fire to his players on the field that he does when speaking it will be an interesting fall for IU football. I told my Dad his energy was so that it made Woody come with a bit more energy himself to keep up. lol

Second, I really enjoyed Woody and the way he speaks of his players it is no wonder kids want to play for him. I think the first thing Myles Rice said was I want to thank Coach Woodson for giving me the opportunity to come and play here (not exact wording but definitely the exact meaning).

Third, all the student athletes were awesome and carried themselves in such a professional manner. They all seemed as if they were upstanding young men and women.

Last, wow when it comes to the money in the room. It was definitely a "who's who" from Southern Indiana and not hard to see why Hoosier Connect has IU at the top of NIL giving and ability to give.

Great evening and I'm now officially excited for IU athletics this fall and winter, but as one of my good friends who was attending said isn't this the best time for the fans? I asked why he said he haven't had the chance to be disappointed yet.

Does it not seem that if the GOP could find a moderate/relatively media untouchable candidate for President— prop him/her up with the promise that Uncle Donald will be chosen as VP —.

Is this not enough to defeat any Dem push this fall with all their chips behind Biden??
Hard to see a loss there despite current legislative action etc. Who knows what becomes of current proceedings other than they want them to last as long as possible. Strong strategy by the left.

Seems easy to me.
And if they hate him or he steps on his crank—-marginalize him like every other VP ever.

Just second sting him.
It’s not hard— just get the office back.

All that comes with him can be then back burnered and just keep playing the game.

So they are wrapping up Alex's last shows at the beginning of the year, then we move to an endless rotation of guest hosts before they name someone. Apparently, everyone's "lock" Ken Jennings has been making an ass of himself. I guess he made the mistake of spending the last ten years saying things that were funny*, and that's coming back to bite him in the ass. Then today there is something going on with some guy named "Bean Dad," and I swear to God I don't think I even want to understand this nonsense.

But if Ken flames out, my guy is still sitting there ready to go. I'm saying LeVar Burton for the next Jeopardy! host.
