Do you multi-task leisure?

I was reading a thread on an old forum about Civilization 6, a strategy game that is notorious for long turn times. That is to say, in the late game, as it gets more complex, when you hit "next turn," it takes several minutes for the AI to go through all the AI player turns and get back to you. Several posters mentioned that they always had a second activity to keep themselves occupied while waiting for this to happen.

Anyway, the game doesn't matter. What I realized is that at some point, I began doing the same thing. Right now, from my couch, I can watch the TV (which I am doing), but I also have within reach a laptop, phone and hardcover book, all available to occupy myself during commercials. I further realized that this is pretty normal for me, now. If I'm lying in bed with a book, it might have my full attention, but if I'm in the living room, I almost always have multiple things going on at the same time. I don't watch TV without a book next to me. I don't play a video game without the TV turned to an interesting background channel.

Anyone else?

Lander

It is simply amazing to me how poor his bbal iq is. For the couple of minutes he was in he throws a pass to I think Geronimo way in the corner where he can do nothing but get boxed in. I think it may have gone out of bounds anyway. Then he drives in and dribbles it off his foot but it somehow goes off a Wisconsin guy so we keep it. Boy I sure hope JHS is ready to be a point guard from day one cause Lander is just wow almost looking like divison three.

IU@Rutgers, Game 2: RU 4 IU 2. Another 8th inning collapse costs IU the lead and the game...

Perkins is on the mound for IU with an ERA of 4.60 in 43 IP and RHP Nathan Florence is on the mound for Rutgers with an era of 2.63 in 37.2 IP.

In the 1st, IU got their first two batters on with walks. With two outs, Whalen and Glasser reached 2nd and 3rd on a double steal, but a K ended IU's 1st.

Rutgers got a man on with a walk, but that would be it with a ground out ending the 1st.

Danny Manning Leaves Maryland to Be an Assistant Coach at Louisville . . .

"Danny Manning, who has served as a collegiate head or assistant coach for 15 years and is one of the premier players in college basketball history, has joined the University of Louisville men’s basketball staff as associate head coach under the Cardinals’ first-year head coach Kenny Payne.

Manning most recently had become an assistant coach at Maryland in April 2021 before serving as interim head coach after then-head coach Mark Turgeon stepped down on Dec. 3."

There was voter fraud

The AP worked with county vote officials in the 6 contested states and found there was voter fraud, 475 potential cases.

Of those, many did not actually get their votes counted as they were caught. Some were for Trump, some for Biden.
