I was wondering if anyone was aware how teams schedule practice during the bye week? I am assuming they are designed for healing and refining but was curious. Thanks

Also...if you watch the clip...look at AJ Hawk's smug typical Ohio State smirk. God I'd love for nothing more than IU to go in and ruin their season later in the year. Like quite a lot more than winning the bucket even.

I think Trump's refusal to do the traditional 60 Minutes (dating back to Humphrey) dual Presidential interviews may end up having negative consequences he might not have envisioned. Not with the MAGA base, they will continue to fawn and support him...

But perhaps with the few undecideds who are left, who are leery of MAGA, but weren't exactly convinced fully of how dangerous a cult can be. Since Trump decided to pull out, that meant that CBS had to fill the space with an alternative report that had likely been planned for a later edition. Since presumably the curiosity/interest in Harris caused a huge increase in audience size, this report on election denialism in AZ probably was viewd by a much larger audience than it might otherwise have enjoyed...

I guess opinions can vary, but I think this report is for a lot of people a reminder of exactly why they would never vote for MAGA. Obviously opinions can vary, but I'm not sure how anyone can watch this and listen to these folks and not come away convinced that they are unginged and dangerous. And the thing is, I don't think they interviewed a single Dem, and for sure all of the folks facing death threats and a barrage of attacks from the MAGA misfits are fellow Republicans...

I'll be honest,I knew it was bad but not this bad. The audio of the threats, the interview of Bush and some of the wacky things she says. How could anyone think it could be a good idea to put these folks in power?

Earlier Byron Baldwin was offered by Alabama. To me this reflects how well our scouting, & recruiting by this staff has been.

My in laws got quite the shock regarding their long-term care insurance. Just recevied a notice that to continue their current benefit level, they would be required to pay premium increases of 133% phased in over the next few years. From ~$7400 to $16,000 a year. Already paid about $80k in premiums. Didn't realize this stuff was so expensive. Also didn't realize insurance companies sold policies like this that are subject to such a large increase in premiums.

I'm assuming the company dotted their i's and crossed their t's with the insurance regulators (but will be checking). Anyone have experience with this? What do you do about this? Roll the dice and hope you don't end up in LTC? Keep paying the same rate but take the lower benefits? Go broke and let Medicaid pay?

As I type this, I realize I better ask my dad about what he's got lined up with my mom for stuff like this. Ugh, I do not want to have that talk. All of this stuff makes me queasy.

Nothing too groundbreaking but really enjoyed how, around the 10:00 minute mark, he answers the question regarding his dad’s influence and career path.

Then the next question, around the 12:50 mark, regarding who might be an unsung hero on the team.

Wife and I appreciated Coach Mercer's invitation to hang out with the players and coaches at the second annual Fan Appreciation day on October 5. For us elders, it's always uplifting to chat with these talented, earnest young men.

I don't follow all the comings and goings of recruiting, transfers, and drafts. Seems like it's a new team every year, so we're always happy to find out that some of our familiar players are back on campus now. Some of the returning impact positions players who we ran into in the dugout include Andrew Wiggins, Jasen Oliver, Tyler Cerny, Josh Pyne, Devin Taylor, Joey Brenczewski, and Jake Stadler. That seems like a stout core to build around. Let's hope they're all in place and healthy when the Spring season starts.

Noticed he hasn’t recorded any stats in 6 games. I know he changed to DL in off-season. Anybody heard about his status? Concerned about LB depth, maybe he could move back to LB to help with 2 deep rotation.

They talk the big talk about how aggressive they are. Then when the game is on the line they pucker up tighter than a virgin on prom night. Case in point, Cincinnati is on the outer edge of FG range in a tie game in OT. Instead of using your hot QB and hot WR to make the FG more manageable, you run 3 dives into the line and get nothing. Settle for a 52 yd FG and miss. 3 plays later, of course, you lose. wtf
