Did someone mention corrupt Federal Agencies?

The Federsl Bureau of Labor Statistics REVISED their data for the FY ending in March 2024

The new data reduces(surprise) the number of actual jobs created by a shocking 818,000.

LPL Financial Chief Economidt Jeffrey Roach pointed that these 'revisions' usually come in at
+-0. 1% while the '24 deviation rate was -0.5%.
The Biden-Harris BLS data deviation was 500% greater(surprise) than the norm.

Can anyone believe ANYTHING this government tells you?

From One pocket to the other...Raytheon

..a subsidiary of Defense Contractor RTX has agreed to pay over $950 million in fines to resolve a federal investigation into contract fraud, violations of anti-corruption and export control laws. Some of the stunts pulled include bribing a member of the Qatari royal family over $30 million dollars, Qatari military officers several million dollars, defrauding the US government through price rigging, misrepresenting labor and material costs and double billing.
Some of the activities have been going on for nearly 20 years
Predictably, no one is going to jail.

Biggest Home Game Since '87?

Hello fellow fans! I'm excited. I've been an IU football fan for nearly 40 years, and I don't think I've ever been this excited about the team. I've been pondering this, and I honestly think tomorrow's game is the biggest home game we've had since October 24th, 1987.

That day, we hosted #20 Michigan. The Hoosiers already had 1 loss vs. Kentucky in week two, but a Big Ten championship and much more was still very achievable. We had won at #9 OSU two weeks prior, and we went on to beat Michigan that day 14-10.

I know we've had some big games since then, but not this far into the season with this much hope.

Traditions

A lot of time is spent on this message board talking about creating new traditions and things to get fans excited or get them to stay at games, etc.

It’s games like Saturday, where things may happen organically end up becoming traditions, even if it only lasts for a few years. It could be a song that’s played. It could be a chant that the students start. Let’s hope it’s a great day and the only way that a tradition is born out of Saturdays with a victory.

What makes a person likable??

I was just reading the above article and a couple stuck out that really makes a person unlikable to me:
  • They don't try to impress.
  • They don't preach
To be honest I kinda combine those two because I been around too many people who preach trying to impress others on how much they know. No matter the subject they know all about it and I immediately know that they don't know sh$t.
All the other things are important but those two are the two that stood out to me.
