Kamala Harris booked exclusive interview with Brett Baier on Fox

Yes, of course it makes it a little less likely that Putin would try to nuke us with ICBMs. But I think even Putin already has some self-restraint when it comes to nukes. So your question does not really identify all the reasons for refusing to appease Putin in his power grab for Ukraine.

As we've seen in the Mideast, "missiles" (the term I used) have other uses besides nukes. If we just let Putin take over Ukraine, he'll be even more willing to threaten or even use missiles, jets, satellites and cyber warfare against other European countries. Putin is already using cyber warfare and election interference against us, so there's absolutely no reason to appease him.
That’s too bad because he’s going to be appeased. There is no way this war ends without Russia retaining at least Crimea and the Donbas.

Wake up Peter Pan.

Oh I’ve long warned pro-lifers to be careful what they wished for with respect to Roe.

I think Dobbs was the right decision. But nobody should be surprised that it touched off a political backlash.

Dems should actually be happy Roe was vacated. Abortion is still going to end up legal pretty much everywhere, once all the dust settles. And they’re getting a great political boost from it.

Lobster in the pot theory. The red states should have passed "reasonable" laws then gradually whittled them back.

Florida's amendment is going to fail because of the 60% requirement. But there is only so much time that they can alienate 55% before the bill comes due.

Bolded is what concerns me. We may bump him to make it worthwhile but if Florida wants him, we cannot compete monetarily. Though winning a championship at IU guarantees one a wing in the college football hall of fame.

Oh, he is with a year of my age AND THAT AIN'T 65. :)
OK, 63. I stand corrected.

We’ll say that he’s nearing 65. Medicare, baby!

As with coach cig I’m basically never wrong. I’m shocked by how much I’ve missed the boat on abortion. There are more abortion signs in yards in my community than anything else. More than letting us bet on sports!! In 2024 I didn’t think it would still be so pressing

I think I’m in the minority with my belief that Cignetti will be at IU for longer than just a year or two.

I can certainly see why people expect he won’t last here. And I may be wrong. But he’s being paid pretty well at IU, the pressure to win is a lot less than somewhere like Florida, and he’s 65 years old.

On the flip side, he’s never made a bunch of money in his career until now. And maybe it’ll be irresistible for him to end his career with as much as he can possibly earn. I wouldn’t blame him.

For now, I’m just enjoying the unprecedented success of Hoosiers football. I never thought I’d see the day - totally unexpected.

This reminds me of Northwestern in the mid-90s.

I think you'll see an offense that is taylor made to fit Jackson's skill set. Probably more swing passes, short throws to set up the offense and his confidence going forward. It's not like he doesn't have 10 different people to throw it to! Utilizing Horton would be wise.

Frankly, with our running game and the way Bostad has this oline clicking, it may be a game of 70/30 run to pass. Our line looked huge yesterday. My son commented on Wedig and Carter Smith's size on the oline.

GameDay @ Bloomington just announced...

Schwarber
I'd like that too. A few years ago I went out to Arizona for spring training games. My buddies I was with are all sCrUBs fans so we went to watch them one of the days. We sat in left field. As Schwarber was walking off the field my buddy yelled out "HOO HOO HOOSIERS!" He looked at us with a big smile and gave a thumbs up. Dude is a Hoosier through and through.

Never wrong, but miss the boat? Love it. Abortion is the wedge issue supreme.

Speaking of signs, drove through Morgan County to get up into Hendricks after the game. @UncleMark , I found all the Trump signs.

And on yard signs, why does every Republican in Monroe County have a Dave Hall sign. He has the most, by a wide margin. He lives in Jackson County.

It is virtually impossible for Harris to have the House and the Senate. So yes, one needs to consider what they can do without that AND what a president can do with it.

I do not think an abortion ban can pass, in all probability that would require Susan Collins' vote and I doubt they get it. But if it did, you think them going to Trump ready to pass a bill to put him on Rushmore would get him to sign it? Playing to his ego can do miracles. I don't think he has a core belief except what his ego wants.
I can't understand the naiveness on this by the moderate right guys on here. Roe was also never going to be overturned. The notion was scoffed at. It will never happen... Until it did.

So next week becomes everything I said about the Nebraska game, Gameday is coming. Two wins in two weeks with all that hype and boom, coach Cig will be at Florida but we will be on the map.

To me, the whole Steven Seagal angle is what makes the story so bizarre and compelling.

Who knew that Steven Seagal did (or at least tried to do) music? Who the hell would buy that?

And it shows how many super-talented musicians are out there just looking for their break. I think the modern music landscape - with Spotify, YouTube, social media, etc - makes it much more possible to be discovered by the kinds of people who can make a career happen.
