Conference season stats: ERA of 5.63 in 40.0 IP with a WHIP of 1.42 and an OBA .263. It's 66 degrees and cloudy with the wind out of the NW at 18 mph and is blowing out when it usually blows in at that park.

1st inning:

T1st:

On a full count, Bothwell hit the batter to put the leadoff hitter on. Bothwell got the next batter on an infield pop-up. Another pop-up, a foul, was caught by Tibbitts for two outs. A line out to right center retired the side. There were a lot foul offs in the inning with Bothwell throwing 25 pitches.

B1st:

Taylor led off with a bunt single to put a man on. Pyne flied out to CF for the first out.

A tough break for IU where a ball hit by Mitchell hit Taylor in the base path for two outs. The ball that Mitchell hit was an infield hit, but it would have gone into the outfield if not for Taylor being hit by it.

Cerny Kd to end the inning.

End of 1st: IU 0 PU 0

Dropping out of nba and in portal

I would guess that it might be easy, but it’s beyond my ability/time:
How many nba declared yet available to return to school & in portal, shooters are still available?

I know they were the exceptions, but if an Oladipo, Morgan, Sheehee or OG were out there/unsigned, would you take them?
And I might use the last Scholly on a potential redshirt, who could develop into a “player” for injury duty.

Once a grifter...

What is it with coffee and all these knockoff brands?

I'm not a coffee drinker (cocoa/hot chocolate) but used to order it occasionally in a restaurant in winter to warm up. But it's kind of embarrassing to keep asking the waitress for more sugar, and have a pile of emptied sugar packets in front of you. I don't like the taste of coffee flavored anything. So I'm not a very good barometer of whether one coffee is better than another one...

But this newest entry has got to be scraping the bottom of the cup, and this ad is pretty cringeworthy. It's basically an SNL skit that writes itself.

I have no idea why anyone would (willingly) put anything associated with Rudy G in their mouth? I do think it's wonderfully ironic that all of the desperate MAGA types that will give Rudy their patronage, will actually be contributing to the coffers of Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman and providing some of the $148 Million Rudy owes for defaming them...

Maybe they could sell this stuff at Trump rallies? Talk about "delicious" irony...

Elaine Stefanik wants to "wipe Hamas off the planet".

I'm sure that'll be yet another cake walk in a long line of cake walks that the GOP drags us into.

What is there, 2, 3 billion Muslims? How many terrorist organizations claim Islam as their authority, I've lost count?

Since I was a kid, it has always been apparent to me that mankind has a self-fulfilling prophecy with its own destruction prefaced on some divine intervention. After all, why would people of faith care about Earth (where we all live) when it's the afterlife (where very likely nobody lives) which matters?

Only uppity humans could take something as awe-inspiring as creation/existence and make it all about themselves. It's so ****ing enraging seeing grown ups clinging to these ancient things.

IUFB's #1 draft pick who is it?

The year was 1938 and Corbett Davis was the selection at #1. It isn't that IUFB hasn't had very good players or very good teams - 1944 and 45 teams, 1968 Rose Bowl, 1987 & 1988 teams. IU just hasn't found a way for the good teams to continue, I hope the hire of coach Cignetti is a sign IU now understands the type of program they need to have for success.
