Ha! My parents just texted me saying they are in Bluffton. Say hi to them for me.
Only place in town with rooms was Cascade… for almost $800!
I'm at our country club for the eclipse party with 300+ people and kids...bunch of boujee business school grads @BradStevens 
I’ve been walking around asking people if they are BradStevens’ parents. Nothing yet.
Look for the folks wearing “We Love Hockey Players - signed, CDA (Chicago Dental Association)”
One of the few times I’ve been at Memorial that I was almost certain we weren’t going to lose…

We had extra traffic here today as people moved around to get ready, but right now it's pretty quiet. This part of the eclipse is pretty boring to be honest.
Somebody is blasting dark side of the moon in the neighborhood.

As you all know, Bton is in the path of totality. They claim that up to 300K people could descend on the area on Monday. Police and emergency planners are on high alert. The town is expected to be gridlocked. A number of businesses are closing, and many or most are planning on reduced staffing.
Weather looks like it's going to be sketchy, currently calling for scattered clouds.
IU is having a big event in Memorial Stadium, featuring Bill Shatner and a couple of other people who I have no clue who they are.
Me, I am taking the day off, and will cruise around town in the later morning or early afternoon just to take in the chaos. I hope to be home in my yard in a lawn chain when the eclipse begins around 1:30, with totality due around 3:00.
So what are your plans?

I wasted about a minute trying to get a picture instead of just enjoying it. But it was something. The actual totality with the corona and all was creepy.
4 minutes in a basketball game takes 30 minutes, why couldn't this be like that? It went by way too fast.
Instant replay review? Flagrant on the moon?
I wasn’t expecting the corona. I didn’t see all the planets they said we could. Just Jupiter
Large red prominence on the bottom throughout was cool. I was expecting more corona.
The people behind us, with a huge telescope, pointed out Venus. Many reports existed that we could see a comet, I wasted 10 seconds hunting for it.
I saw Venus and Jupiter. Venus was extra bright, not sure how you missed that, unless you had an unlucky cloud. We were all clear here.
I missed that in real time, but saw it on TV. I assume that was a CME or something?
