IU welcomes Foley back into the weekend rotation barring a last-minute setback. Purdue has been a hot hitting team getting off to quick starts and one of their leading hitters is redshirt freshman 1B Luke Gaffney who is hitting .412 on the season and has been named the B1G Freshman of the Week five times so far, and is probably a shoo-in to be the conference freshman of the year. Purdue has been helped on the mound by two transfer pitchers in LHP Jordan Morales who transferred in from PSU and is 6-4 on the season, while LHP Luke Wagner who transferred in from Georgia is 7-0 on the season. While those two pitchers' numbers haven't been exactly overwhelming, they have benefitted greatly by the Purdue hitters which have usually gotten them off to good starts.
