And, he was using the wifi account in your name wasn't he?Right. The Chinese seem to have figured out how to do that.
Social media was not much of a thing when my daughter was young, but I hope I would insist on knowing her passwords to all her accounts if she were that age now.
I did catch my nephew, who lived with us, surfing porn. He was too stupid to use a passsword. Of course, I felt hypocritical banning him from it.......
Ah. Gotcha. Carry on.Actually, I meant to say $500 million, which was meant to highlight how ridiculous Hickory's comparison is.
In other words, he can afford to pay the judgement against him
That was never in question, Skippy. It was all about the amount he had to put up to appeal. In other words, he can afford to pay the judgement against him
I like your wifeMy wife said it best. "I hate that man. I wish he was dead. And I hate that he's made me that way. I don't like me when I think like that."
No it’s actually Trump . His actions and the words coming from his mouth that we can hear.Yep, it's all Trump's fault people react like that. Got nothing to do with the lies being spread in the media. It's all Trump's fault.
She nasty
After lying about 'Russian Collusion' for so many years, you don't think people are swayed by the media? No it’s actually Trump . His actions and the words coming from his mouth that we can hear.
I didn’t realize this part-I assume charges are imminent. We have one system of justice as James and Hochul have told us repeatedly.
Jon Stewart benefited by 829% ‘overvalue’ of his NYC home even as he labels Trump’s civil case ‘not victimless’
Jon Stewart is facing online backlash after saying Donald Trump’s case overvaluing his properties was “not victimless,” and sleuths found his own records.nypost.com
Also, Stewart has nothing to worry about, nor does anyone else in New York.I assume charges are imminent. We have one system of justice as James and Hochul have told us repeatedly.

Did you guys read the article?I assume charges are imminent. We have one system of justice as James and Hochul have told us repeatedly.

That doesn't even make sense. No one is getting mad at trump for selling a property over the assessed value.Did you guys read the article?
So are you upset that he sold the property at higher than assessed value? Happens all the time. Or are you mad about the tax assessment value?I did
So are you upset that he sold the property at higher than assessed value? Happens all the time. Or are you mad about the tax assessment value?
Don't see how much of this is comparable to Trump.
You don't see a problem with him selling it to someone and then they sold it at a loss?So are you upset that he sold the property at higher than assessed value? Happens all the time. Or are you mad about the tax assessment value?
Don't see how much of this is comparable to Trump.
I'm trying to be kind here, danc, but that comment is so ignorant it doesn't warrant any kind of a substantive reply. You don't see a problem with him selling it to someone and then they sold it at a loss?
Where's the investigation on that?

To further his point, Stewart argued that “money isn’t infinite. A loan that goes to the liar doesn’t go to someone who’s giving a more honest evaluation. So the system becomes incentivized for corruption.”I assume charges are imminent. We have one system of justice as James and Hochul have told us repeatedly.

It's not at all comparable. So are you upset that he sold the property at higher than assessed value? Happens all the time. Or are you mad about the tax assessment value?

I thought RE "value" is a non-time specific fact?Have you followed your previous houses to see if they sold for a loss later on?
If they did sell for a loss, would you have written a check to the person that bought it from you?
I took about a $5k loss I think on the first house I sold and I don't recall the person I bought it from sending me a check. Didn't realize that was a thing. darn it. wonder if i can contact that person now and make them feel bad?
Then why would Stewart say this:Assessed value is assigned by the local government assessor. It often/usually (as you noted) bears little relationship to what the owner of real estate can get in a sale.
You're wasting your time with him.Have you followed your previous houses to see if they sold for a loss later on?

Nope.Trump blatantly lied about his wealth on financial statements he used to obtain loans and cut other deals. These lies included false valuations that he provided in connection with his properties.
What action(s) did Jon Stewart take in an effort to either fraudulently inflate or undervalue his property? Then why would Stewart say this:
“The attorney general of New York knew that Trump’s property values were inflated because when it came time to pay taxes, Trump undervalued the very same properties,” Stewart added. “It was all part of a very specific real estate practice known as lying.”
Tax assessment is the job/responsibility of the local assessor, not the homeowner. And there is neither a requirement nor an expectation that assessed value (and/or taxable value) be equivalent to market value. Why was Stewart allowing his home to be tax assessed at a value substantially less than his actual opined market value?
I didn’t realize this part-
“The $454 million bond to appeal the ruling marks the highest bond ever recorded in United States history against a single individual.”
Totally not political at all.
I didn't say he did. What action(s) did Jon Stewart take in an effort to either fraudulently inflate or undervalue his property?
Yes, I have. And none have sold for losses, much less 26%.Have you followed your previous houses to see if they sold for a loss later on?

Wow. Algonquian assessment there. Good info.Tax assessment is the job/responsibility of the local assessor, not the homeowner. And there is neither a requirement nor an expectation that assessed value (and/or taxable value) be equivalent to market value.

Just because you're stupid enough to sell at a loss doesn't mean everyone is. Stewart has financial advisors, for what he's making. He's got professionals working for him, unlike you.
Stewart should be investigated not only for overvaluing his property, but for selling at what was obviously an inflated price. Sounds like there is a big potential for corruption there.
That's only if the Trump prosecution isn't political.......Yes.
His his home was worth $17.5MM, and he was paying taxes on an $800k assessment.
The State should come after him for back taxes on all the years he didn't pay the millage rate at a $17.5MM value...plus interest! 😄

You're an idiot if you think selling a property over market value to a buyer willing to pay that value is at all comparable to what trump did.
