At this point you might want to investigate what will work with 5G. While I really like my Xr, I’m not sure it will work with 5G. T-Mobile has rolled out 5G, and it currently doesn’t work with the Xr. Maybe that will change.

The new iPhones have vastly improved batteries, fwiw.

Just bought a new 8 plus that I hope will get me through a few more years. Not ready to lose TouchID in favor of FaceID. I'll resist that for as long as I can.

I prefer Android but the wife is all about Apple and Verizon had a promo for the XR. We went for that.
