Easy to compare Cupps and Smith in the same game. Smith is quicker with the ball and more creative. And obviously a better shooter.
Makes it a lot easier when you get calls, 7-1 and 11-4 in fouls. Players can play a lot easier, more relaxed when you won’t get calls against you.
I had a bad feeling when I heard he was returning. Woodson needed a good Year 3 - XJ is just good enough to get him fired.

I’m still trying to figure out Sparks. He plays hard and I love his effort, but how in gods name was he a good player at Ball State? Every time Sparks gets the ball he looks like he’s never dribbled, looks like he’s never backed someone down in the post and looks like he’s never shot a layup.
