Another game down to the final seconds? The Elite Eight and now the Final Four has been a treat in terms of close contested games.Fantastic defense by Texas Tech in the fitsf half. Great to watch there tenacity and toughness
Was thinking the same thing.Another game down to the final seconds? The Elite Eight and now the Final Four has been a treat in terms of close contested games.
I hope they beat virginiaHow can anyone cheer for that TTU team? They are a basketball team with almost no connection to the university, just a bunch of guys wearing TTU jerseys.
Good for you. That’s a garbage program.I hope they beat virginia
How can anyone cheer for that TTU team? They are a basketball team with almost no connection to the university, just a bunch of guys wearing TTU jerseys.
No pack line.Fantastic defense by Texas Tech in the fitsf half. Great to watch there tenacity and toughness
What does that mean? How can anyone cheer for that TTU team? They are a basketball team with almost no connection to the university, just a bunch of guys wearing TTU jerseys.
Hope they blast UVA, who had no business winning that game … it was over, until the refs decided otherwiseFantastic defense by Texas Tech in the fitsf half. Great to watch there tenacity and toughness
That play great Team Defense. That's how.How can anyone cheer for that TTU team? They are a basketball team with almost no connection to the university, just a bunch of guys wearing TTU jerseys.

They make Kentucky’s and Duke’s systems of oad look Ivy League. It’s a farce.
How can anyone cheer for that TTU team? They are a basketball team with almost no connection to the university, just a bunch of guys wearing TTU jerseys.
LOLI agree. A bunch of guys from different situations and teams all finding a home, supporting each other, and buying into a common philosophy.....that’s not a team.
Come to think of it the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey team wasn’t a team either. Just a bunch of guys wearing the USA jersey.
So the one and dones at Kentucky and Duke have a connection to the school? How can anyone cheer for that TTU team? They are a basketball team with almost no connection to the university, just a bunch of guys wearing TTU jerseys.
Texas Tech is nothing more than a team of mercenaries. Cheering for them is like going to your local gym and cheering for a random team in a pickup game.So the one and dones at Kentucky and Duke have a connection to the school?
Those days are over, they play for shoe companies and a certain coach.
Romeo had a connection to IU???
In a normal game a 12 point lead is large. In this game it feels like it's twice as large.

Very true,we had one this year and are looking at a couple more for next year.Better get used to the concept "Earl". With the Transfer Portal you're going to see more teams put together like TT than not.
Maybe you or someone else can help me. If a player is dribbling and loses control of the ball can't they get the ball back, possess it and dribble it again. I admit I might not be seeing things correctly. Thanks.Kyle was clearly hit as he released the ball. I have no issue with that foul being called, regardless of the moment in the game. The real travesty for Auburn was the missed double dribble a second earlier. THAT, was the game.
It will be interesting to see which schools decide to go to that route exclusively. I won’t have to get used to it unless my school follows that blueprint. I doubt it will.Better get used to the concept "Earl". With the Transfer Portal you're going to see more teams put together like TT than not.
After his jersey was pulled off his back, which, also was not called.Kyle was clearly hit as he released the ball. I have no issue with that foul being called, regardless of the moment in the game. The real travesty for Auburn was the missed double dribble a second earlier. THAT, was the game.

Tech = 4 transfers in their top 6, 3 starters, 2 of them grad transfers? A mercenary is a mercenary ..They make Kentucky’s and Duke’s systems of oad look Ivy League. It’s a farce.
NCAA will be changing grad transfer rules soon. So more likely you will not be seeing as many teams filled with as many free agents.Better get used to the concept "Earl". With the Transfer Portal you're going to see more teams put together like TT than not.
Nope,if they touch the ball with both hands and the balk touches the floor they cannot dribble again.Maybe you or someone else can help me. If a player is dribbling and loses control of the ball can't they get the ball back, possess it and dribble it again. I admit I might not be seeing things correctly. Thanks.
The fact that no one mentioned probably is the same reason the refs missed it. Everyone was looking for the foul, no one saw the odd sequence for what it was.Nope,if they touch the ball with both hands and the balk touches the floor they cannot dribble again.
The only way they can is if the ball is knocked out of their hands.
I kept waiting for the whistle last night for them to call it.
I couldn’t believe it wasn’t brought up until after the game was over.
Exactly right. It never occurred to me that was a violation until 5 minutes later when my Purdue buddies were blowing up Twitter about the Virginia conspiracy. It appears the entire NCAA is in on it. Virginia must win the championship! The fact that no one mentioned probably is the same reason the refs missed it. Everyone was looking for the foul, no one saw the odd sequence for what it was.
Imagine that. A player touched the ball twice with both hands .... but no ref called a double dribble.Kyle was clearly hit as he released the ball. I have no issue with that foul being called, regardless of the moment in the game. The real travesty for Auburn was the missed double dribble a second earlier. THAT, was the game.
No Kentucky. They make Kentucky’s and Duke’s systems of oad look Ivy League. It’s a farce.
I missed it. I thought the Auburn player had reached across his front and knocked the ball away and off his calf. It wasn't until I saw the replay after that I realized it was a double dribble. It's too bad, but I understand how the call was missed. You have to take into consideration that it happened in real time, with the ref responsible for that call looking at it from floor level, and with the offensive player between him and the defender. He missed it for sure, but I don't see it as something that was egregious. The fact that no one mentioned probably is the same reason the refs missed it. Everyone was looking for the foul, no one saw the odd sequence for what it was.
What??Texas Tech is nothing more than a team of mercenaries. Cheering for them is like going to your local gym and cheering for a random team in a pickup game.
two thumbs upNo Kentucky.
No Duke, (no jewelry related or OAD related or Klingon related or employing-a-player's-mother or otherwise related.)
No Connecticut.
No Kansas.
No Purdue.
I suggest that in future, you station yourself outside the arena at Texas Tech and warn those folks that they shouldn't go in and support their team. They'll listen to you, don't you think? Ever been to the West Texas plains? Its a great place to get yer ass kicked real good.Texas Tech is nothing more than a team of mercenaries. Cheering for them is like going to your local gym and cheering for a random team in a pickup game.
