Doesent surprise me. I figured Iowa would run us by 17. IU would probably beat them at home but Woodson running things, IU is always at a minus coming into games.

Not that any more evidence was needed. But IF the decent early results in the B10 season were based on any reliable, repeatable, actual improvements by Woodson and his players…then a game like tonight wouldn’t happen. Obviously losing at Iowa can happen. Any road loss in the B10 can happen to well run programs. But a well run program doesn’t get run out of the gym by a middle of the pack Iowa team. These types of games are pretty normal for Woodson era teams though. We were due for one.

So ****ing tired of this shit. I just can’t root against IU, so I will have to simply not watch. I’ll look at the scores and if I am bored one night, I’ll pick a game we win (if there is one) and watch it and pretend we don’t suck tits.
Another difference is lots of money has been paid for this greatest show on earth.
I was never optimistic about Coach Woodson and I didn't understand why some were. I've been patient and have said little. But I'm done. We need to move on.

I'll give you some advice. Decide which coaches get their teams prepared the best, and don't watch when IU plays those teams. If it's just our 5 vs your 5, IU has a good chance to win.
welcome to my world. I record every game. Check in about 30-60 minutes in to see if it's even a game and watch then if it is, but I've decided not to watch shit bball for 2 hours to get in a shit mood. I've accepted I am not a "real fan" and that's fine by me.

I don't think so. I think a good competent coach would have this roster playing pretty well (I think a good coach would have this roster top 15 most of the year). We have a pretty talented roster who has shown they can hit 3s at times. Then it comes down to players knowing their role and taking the shots they should. We have a lot of guys who shouldn't be taking shots, taking them, and some guys who should take them, taking the wrong ones. There's plenty of talent on this roster. The problem all comes down to the coaching... or lack of it.
PS, box score I'm looking at says we made four 3s: 4/16.
Perhaps, but Crean argubably had more talent in 16-17 and lost in NIT rd 1. (RoJo,JBjr,TBryant, Morgan, Anunoby etc). That team coilda also had Troy Williams as well. Crazy. I know OG was hurt but that team still had more talent then this one.

Yea. Honestly I'm surprised how bad this roster has been. I thought even with Woody they would be close to top-25 at the worst. Nope.
Seems like IU is on pace with Woody to become the losingest program in ncaab history like football! Maybe then they will try to be smart in finding the right coach and players?!
