Will IU admin continue to punish the basketball program?

Would have worked, maybe but out of those which one would have come to IU and deal with the mess after Sampson?

I still think IU taking the Holier-than-thou position turned some coaches off. Because a lot of them probably did the same shit Sampson did.

Pitino was probably only availaiy they were going after him coming off Sampson. Pearl, probably. But he was already into shit by summer of 2008 that would cost him his job later.


So no, don't think your list touches on reality of time and place.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I think the pride of "IU is too good of a school for that guy" has been around for a long time now. I don't want a slimy guy coaching IU but a past mistake doesn't always mean a guy can't represent the program the right way.

Again, Chris Beard would be a home run. He runs his programs the right way. He loves his players. The program would be infinitely better than it has been for 30 years.

IU always prefers to lose and morally posture than win. The school never took basketball seriously. Bob Knight was solely responsible for its success. Facilities were neglected and then only the bare minimum was done to upgrade them. Hiring Miller and especially Woodson were clear signs the administration doesn’t care about winning. The fans should be in revolt about this incompetence.

McCracken wouldn’t have won those championship’s without Bob Knight.

IU would never hire a coach on probation because of it’s moral posturing.

Dolson should be fired. Not only did he hire Woodson, but the king would have won here if he was given more money for NIL

Moral posturing is why Crean is still our coach, we should revolt.

Do you know why they didn’t do anything to the facilities? Because the person in charge of the program didn’t want to do anything to the facilities. He didn’t care about those things.

I’ve listened to Bob’s every word since he first walked on campus. He never stated publicly he didn’t want anything about the facility changed.
